We were incredibly fortunate to have Juan Colon as our guide at Ek Balam, who was one of the archaeologists on-site when the discovery of this doorway was made. He worked on uncovering, cataloging and reconstructing it for over 10 years. AMAZING!

Love is blinding when the timing's never right

Oh who am I to beg for difference

Finding love in just an instant

Well I dont mind, at least I've tried

And I tried, I tried...

Another day, another 365.

It seems super crazy to me that tomorrow is already the two week mark. A small accomplishment in the grand scheme of things for sure, but still... It seems to have gone so fast.

Everything is like that, isn't it? One minute you're 15 and carefree, and all of a sudden you're 18 and have no idea how you got knocked on your ass in what seemed to be such a short amount of time. Who knew it could all fall to pieces so easily?

This is the sort of strange mood I've been in for an hour or two now. I'm not really sure why, but... There you go. This photo seems to capture the mood for me well enough, or maybe I'm just not trying. Taking up space is something I'm fairly good at these days, since I don't exactly do much. But you're not here to listen to me bitch and moan, so I'll knock it off and let you continue your day.

So long, folks.

Day13: 3-25-2013 @ 9:18am

today i made shapes with my mouth

I've been feeling a little blue the last couple of days and I had to get out today to run some errands. I took my camera with me and as I stopped for gas, I pulled it out and started shooting. This shot captured my mood and after adding some Film Textures from Lost and Found, as well as playing with some blending modes, this is the result...

I call it "Bleak."

This is where I sit wasting time in front of the TV

Almost straight off the camera, Just a little healing for some dry flaky skin. I really like this picture.

Cheeky Squirrel

To have the opportunity to witness what is left of the Pyrenees Glaciers is both chance and a curse. A chance that the next generations will not have but also a curse since it really brings light to the fact that the climate, together with everything influenced by it, is changing rapidly forcing us to adapt also rapidly. Today, I felt home, hiking through alpine environments, reflecting on the fact that what is happening to Las Vegas might, sooner than we think, happen to the Alpine Refuges. And that is when I arrived at the Refuge Bayssellance where they were out of water! I continued to Gavarnie where I pitched my tent in the campground. I was not impress by this little town…
