Making up for a few days out of town.
Today it is 82 degrees in Pasadena, CA.
Sophie played in the backyard with our slip and slide! This is still one of our kids favorite, better than Disneyland or the beach! It felt like a perfect summer day.

Sorry for the absence. I reinstalled my windows and lost all of my programs, so I needed a little bit to get on my feet.
I will make up for the lost days. Soon you will see pictures flying for every day that I missed. ;)

Movement isn't super easy right now because of the broken leg, but I managed to get a few good pictures and liked this one the best.
we had a whole day to explore Roswell which was more than enough. Started at the UFO museum, walked the main street and ended up in the spaceship shaped McDonalds.
Today ALLS I could think about was Katie's arrival to the USofA. She was in France for 10 months and when she left she was pretty my best friend, and I don't even think she knew that. But, I made a poster for her and met her family at the airport to surprise her and I believe it went well. I pooped my pants when I saw her. I'm pretty sure I was the only that cried, lol. We got to catch only a little because she had to go back to Vero and I had to go back to UCF. I can't even express how happy I was to be able to see her.
Some practice with Maya. I've used Maya before but I tried a lot of new things with this. I modeled that could be potentially animated, used a subsurface scatter shader, and created a rudimentary rig. Hopefully I'll make an animation with it soon!
There's still some goofiness to work out. The tip of his right hand goes white, the model is not very smooth and I need to make a legit working rig. All part of the learning process!
