So, my first shoot with the RZ was a mild disaster.
Turns out, my film back wont advance the film, the counter is broken or something, it just advances straight on through. I can hear stuff rattling around inside also, had to abandon it.
Total bummer.
Was able to snag a few shots with the 5D but it was too late, my night was totally smashed.

Quando si parla di Dave Weckl, buona parte dei batteristi entra in un mondo parallelo nel quale si immagina davanti a un’immensa folla a riprodurre le sue stesse prodezze accompagnato dalla garanzia del suo inconfondibile stile. Un vero e proprio musicista di riferimento ormai da tempo. Ha segnato in modo indelebile la storia del batterismo mondiale e tutt’ora continua a farlo con rinnovata energia e passione.
La Dave Weckl Acoustic Band rappresenta la realizzazione di un sogno e di un’alchimia tra quattro musicisti iniziata in un tour che vedeva Mike Stern come headliner.
Nell’agosto del 2014 è uscito l’album di debutto della band: Of The Same Mind.
La musica combina le atmosfere jazz, latin e funk, ed è stata scritta dai diversi membri della band.
