Dave is an auto mechanic and small business owner in Millville, Ma. His shop is old home comfort to men of a particular age. It's filled with memories of days which are behind us, tools which some of us never did learn how to use, and that well worn look which only achieved through the passage of time.
Dave is a truly pleasant man, he works at his trade alone, so as not to worry about the volume of work as it arrives. Says Dave, "There's always work for a single mechanic, sometimes not enough for two."
Based on my experience at Dave's shop, there's work for one very busy and industrious man... probably enough for two on most given days..
I was so impressed with Dave's obvious sincerity and easy going demeanor that he is now my mechanic.... Can't say anything to top that..
I have considerably more than just the 10 Strangers in my collection... they can be seen at my photo page:

Lucy is the best dog; she guarded the hotel. The owners called her a "tsunami dog," as she showed up to the hotel shortly after the tsunami as a puppy.

Dave is what most people would call a recluse. Hired as the Klau/Buena Vista mine caretaker, he finds time to pursue his hobbies such as metal work while living in seclusion in the adelaida region of San Luis Obispo county. Here he makes a gate for the mine's owner whom is said to live on the coast, east of the the Adaladia region.
