This is my first multiple-exposure shot like this... It was simple to do in Photoshop, and it came out pretty nice. Thank you for your awesome continuous shooting mode, 40D!
I messed with the masking a little so not any one of the Daves is actually completely in the foreground. I also made sure Dave's face was showing on all of the shots, even if it should really be behind another Dave.

No editing done, hell yeah point and shoot!
My group sat outside, in the 30 degree weather, for about 10 hours. We were members of Warehouse and had floor tickets, but still wanted to get front row. We were dead center against the railings. Our dedication paid off!

Dave was getting angry at me for bringing my nice camera and not taking very many pictures. I hope he's still not mad at me. I'm not as outgoing as him, so sometimes it's more difficult for me to approach people and take photos.

I followed an online tutorial for a Dave Hill effect. This is the results. Not brilliant, but a start!
It was a pleasure to shoot another set for Irish jazz drummer David Lyttle www.davidlyttle.com
This time round he lined up a DeLorean—the car featured in Back to the Future. These cars were built in Belfast in the 80s. We played up to local side and shot at the Belfast Docks, just across the road from where the Titanic was built.
There's a bit of a story...the first car broke down on the way to the location. After an hour and a half trying to get it started, the owner's friend turned up with some mechanical know-how and diagnosed a dead fuel pump. But he happened to own a DeLorean of his own and kindly offered to take it out to shoot. We only had an hour to set up and shoot in the end and did what we could in the fading light.

I had the privilege to see Dave Mallett last night at the Dixmont Maine Bicentennial celebration. We enjoyed a great night of excellent musicianship and the stories the songs told. Unfortunately, as if on cue, at the close of his last song the rain, lightning and thunder rolled in hard and heavy.
What I took from this night, other than a good memory of an amazing performance, was that I need to focus on low light shooting in regards to 'grain'. However, I was very happy to have white-balanced the red spot lights out of the picture.
