This video shows the roll-out of cell towers in Denmark in the period 1991-2014.
It shows separate data for GSM, UMTS, and LTE towers, as well as an aggregate view.
The data has been filtered based on the following estimated roll-out dates for the various technologies:
* GSM: November 1991
* UMTS: October 2003
* LTE: December 2010
Based on data provided by Erhvervsstyrelsen ("Mastedatabasen").
VoteEasy.org is a voter education tool that was designed to allow the general public to quickly and easily see how closely political candidates align with their views on 12 key issues. It utilizes thousands of hours of research and a vast collection of data assembled by the nonpartisan group, Project Vote Smart. It is the most up-to-date resource for candidate political information, including voting records, interest groups ratings, campaign finances, and personal biography.
The site allows visitors to interact with 3 levels of data, including exploring all candidates running in a particular state, those running in a specific district, and the individual details of each candidate.
As visitors rank the importance of 12 key issues, the lawn signs respond by jumping forward and back to show the similarity of their candidates.
The tool was recently updated to support Presidential candidates.

Number of clicks in a 10-day period on various linked words in the footer of ilearnedtoprogram.com
None of the words really give any clue as to what they link.
Relative position in the list seems to be quite significant, considering that the first-position "lots" got over 3 times the number of clicks as the third-position (and parenthesized) "lots".

A network graph showing the dependencies of npm packages with at least 10 inbound links, i. e. other packages that depend on them. The graph was calculated based on data from July 12, 2013 and consists of 717 nodes and 942 edges. See an interactive version at: exploringdata.github.io/vis/npm-top-packages-dependencies/
Prints of this graph can be ordered as posters and other products from Redbubble and Zazzle from the links below:

Opening of the exhibition on the history and spatial development of Katowice

Near the end of the summer, I was asked by the publishers of Popular Science magazine to produce a visualization piece that explored the archive of their publication. PopSci has a history that spans almost 140 years, so I knew there would be plenty of material to draw from. Working with Mark Hansen, I ended up making a graphic that showed how different technical and cultural terms have come in and out of use in the magazine since it's inception.
This is the sum of my GPS skyviews over October 6–27 or so. The zenith is at the center and north is up in this plot; I think east is on the … uh … you know, I don’t know. Probably the left. This is the output of a script I wrote in like 2009 and I didn’t re-read it. Um, anyway. Higher SNRs are brighter.
Since I was all over the place, there’s no significant pattern to the SNRs other than that they tail off towards the horizon, where there’s more ground clutter and a longer path through the troposphere.
When I have time, I’d like to try 3D imaging of ground clutter using skyview over area. I’ve noticed two other people who’ve tinkered with 2D imaging of ground clutter: Kiwi Geoff and Wolfgang S. Rupprecht. I think I remember finding a third, but I can’t seem to re-find them.
I used ffmpeg to turn a highish-quality H.264 video out a MAX window into 22,080 PNGs. These are the file sizes of the frames in order, and because PNG uses lossless compression, it’s a proxy for image complexity. (Not a great one, but also not a bad one.)
We can see what you might expect but I wanted to check: during stops – the relatively flat periods – complexity goes up presumably as the compressor spends bits refining static shapes, and then often levels off as transients are filtered. For comparison, here’s a serialization of the video (made from these images, not coincidentally), but notice that it runs in the other direction from this series.
A presentation from investment company Imprimatur Capital engages the audience at the Labs of Latvia ignition event on March 3rd, 2015.
ZoomCharts was delighted to be a part of the ignition event that took place at Birojnīca, Mill Street 84/2, Rīga, LV 1050, Latvia, on March 3rd, 2015 to celebrate the launch of Labs of Latvia.
Labs of Latvia is a brand new Rīga based community platform for Latvian startups by Latvian startups. It provides information about the Latvian startup scene for startups, investors, media, and the Latvian startup community at large.
The ignition event included a live unveiling of the platform by key speaker Christina Forsgård, and gave startups the chance to network, enjoy snacks, and to sit back and evaluate while investors and communities made pitches.
The fantastic event gave the ZoomCharts team the chance to catch up with their growing group of current clients who spoke of their highly satisfying experience so far, and to showcase ZoomCharts’ many exciting developments in the works to potential clients who were very excited about what ZoomCharts has to offer.

Use of gradient to show layering. Hot and cold colours also have different connotations.
ZoomCharts is rapidly growing because of the increasing number of businesses and professionals that choose working with our interactive data visualization software which allows exploring ins and outs of the big data in the way that is comprehensive and very intuitive.
Here is a brief summary of the ZoomCharts new release v1.5:
•Introduction of four types of Geo Chart
Pie Chart on Geo Chart
Geo Chart Layers
Net Chart on Geo Chart
Droplet Shapes and Custom Map
-API is stable but is a subject to change
-uses Leaflet with the ability to use any map engine supported by Leaflet
such as OpenStreetMap, Google Maps, Bing Maps, ESRI WMS services
-native Net chart integration (nodes and links with geographic coordinates)
-supports custom shapes (such as countries/regions) with an automatic
drilldown
-supports auto-aggregation of nodes
-supports integration with other chart types (Pie/Time/Facet) with the Net
chart on Geo chart.
-smart dynamic/floating node layout with fixed anchor points
•TypeScript definition file for chart API
-provides compile time check of API and settings schemas if TypeScript
is used
-can be used to get auto-complete functionality for JavaScript in IDEs
that support it such as WebStorm or Visual Studio Code
•Ability to render multiple charts on the same canvas
•Breaking changes
-‘dataFunction’ can no longer directly return value, instead ‘success’ delegate must be always used
•Deprecated functions
-for the Time Chart ‘serverTime’ is deprecated in favor of ‘timeZoneOffset’
•Net Chart
-hierarchical layout mode added.
-improved animation algorithms
-support custom shapes for nodes (user specified rendering methods)
-additional built-in node in the shape of a droplet
•Pie Chart
-ability to swipe to select slices
•Time Chart
-candlestick series type
-ability to specify the time zone offset separately for data and series
•Facet chart
-chart display buttons that indicate the additional data can be revealed by
swiping
