‘We moeten nu doorpakken.

Gliese 581C Orbiting it's parent red dwarf star of only 1/3 the size of our own sun was one of the first stars spotted with habital worlds for life only twenty light years from Earth in the early 21st century and confirmed by 2018 as a definite target world for colonization. When Pakistani space explorers arrived in 2107 they discovered intelligent life living there and quickly became friends. Gliese 581 is a compact star system with only seven planets. The habital planet Gliese 581c orbits the sun every ten days or so and is 12,000 miles across making it one and half times the size of Earth and perhaps one of the now most populated and oldest colonies in the Pakistani Starfleet's databank of planetary systems. Gliese 581C Has well over 60 billion beings. The pakistanis after countless generations who live on Gliese 581 are known for incredible physical strength due to the immense gravity being double that of the Earth.

Gliese 581c has five moons, the largest is 3800 miles across. Gliese 581b is the larger neighbor planet with a stormy and intensely hot atmosphere and surface. It is nearly the size of Neptune and orbits only a few million miles away from Gliese 581c. It is quite frequent that dual planetary eclipses occur in this star system and the tides of Gliese 581c are effected by as much as fifty feet every time a planetary transit occurs. Gliese 581c numbers the second planet from the sun. The other five planets are barren cold places all with masses atleast five times the Earth. Some arctic like life exists on the third planet but it's mostly primitive life and is off limits to visitation due to hardy and potentially hostile natured extremophile life.

Gliese 581 Red Dwarf sun gives off a localized neon charged nebula up to 30 million miles from the sun. Gliese 581c atmosphere is thick and protects the planet which is also far more stable than Earth or the parent star Sol from where humanity originated from. There is no heavy asteroid or debris field located in the Gliese 581 star system and comets are rare as it is an ancient star system. Most debris have been absorbed by the planets after more than ten billion years of age. The star is expected to last 40 billion more years before it gently flares out.

Being a pakistani space explorer, Gliese 581 is a must see in one's life time.

Accompanying article by IBON Databank reads: "Why write about a regime that many Filipinos would prefer to forget? For good reason: There are lessons to be learned which may also help us determine exactly where we stand as the moment of rebuilding approaches."

The Manila Times, February 28, 1986

(From the newspaper collection of Mr. Jose Antonio Custodio)

Yoda, the ancient and revered Jedi Master, lived his final years hiding on the swamp planet of Dagobah. Nine hundred years old, Yoda had trained Jedi for eight centuries, and was very powerful in the Force. Among his last pupils were the most important (and reckless) Jedi in recent history, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Luke Skywalker.

Say hi to Yoda

Myself in October 1983. I was 13.

We were on our first family foreign holiday - Mum, Dad and 2 younger sisters.

The destination was Mallorca, the largest of the Spanish Balearic Islands.

We hired bicycles and rode from the resort of S'illot to the Cuevas del Drach (Dragon Caves).

According to modern day information sources this is a 7 kilometre ride.

My glasses would have been glass lensed in those days and probably quite heavy.

Note the Casio calculator wrist watch and velcro fastened shoes.

Various Casio calculator watches and later Casio Databank series would appear on my wrist for many years later.

All the bicycles were manufactured by Spanish company BH. The BH stands for Beistegui Hermanos (The Beistegui Brothers: Cosme, Domingo and Juan Beistegui).

Note the chrome parts and dynamo powered lighting.

Upon inspection of other photos, they were all single speed.

The photo would have been taken by my Mum with Dad's Canon 35mm SLR camera. A camera which I still believe he has today.

COMPOUNDED DRUGS: Payment Practices Vary across Public Programs and Private Insurers, and Medicare Part B Policy Should Be Clarified

Note: According to First Databank officials, First Databank tracks the number of bulk drug substances—which are generally not approved by FDA for marketing—added to its database by national drug code (NDC). NDCs are three-segment numbers that are the universal product identifiers for drugs for human use. A single bulk drug substance may be distributed by multiple manufacturers, in different forms or strengths, and by varying package sizes and, hence, may have multiple NDCs associated with it. According to First Databank officials, manufacturers submit requests to First Databank to add NDCs for bulk drug substances to its database.

The dianoga is a disgusting garbage parasite that infests the refuse systems of large Imperial installations and warships. They can grow up to ten meters in size. The muddy-colored squid-like creature thrives in dank environments, patiently waiting for morsels big enough to satisfy its appetite. The seven-tentacled creature ensnares its prey and attempts to drag it into its hungry mouth. Source: www.starwars.com/databank/creature/dianoga/

I doubt it is allowed to publish a bill for this year's government toppling...

Thailand's Costly Protests: Who's Footing The Bill?

11th December 2008

Huffington Post

"BANGKOK -- As anti-government protesters ground parts of Bangkok to a halt, vivid yellow stickers began to appear on noodle carts and shop windows.

"Buea Mob," they read. Bored of the mob.

It's easy for detractors to dismiss the People's Alliance for Democracy as a boarish mob. Marching in roaring packs, gripping batons and iron stakes, they seized two airports and the Thai prime minister's compound. Its enforcers have been nabbed with Uzis and Molotov cocktails and have appeared on Thai TV firing pistols at rivals.

But the alliance is much more than a sophisticated street mob. Its success is owed less to brute force than to the hidden donor network that sustained its government-toppling campaign. As Bangkok heals in the uprising's wake, alliance leaders are not revealing their financiers, even as airlines, government officials and others mount plans to seek damages in court.

The damage claims, still emerging, could eventually top $5 billion USD, a figure that's well above Bangkok province's $1.3 billion annual budget. Though police are pursuing charges, they admit that suing the group's core leaders for damage caused by violent enforcers will be tricky...

...THE UPRISING'S COST

While Thai protesters' total drain on Thailand's economy is still fuzzy, some damage estimates have emerged:

* Thai Airways claims roughly $4.5 billion for the eight-day siege of the Suvarnabhumi international airport, its hub. The airline plans to sue.

* A low-cost carrier, Thai Air Asia, at one point claimed nearly $9 million in lost revenue. The airline is still deciding whether it can sue.

* About $98.1 million USD per day in lost export revenues, according to a Thai export consortium. Airports were seized for seven days. No lawsuit announcement yet.

* At least 1 million tourism-related jobs have been lost or will be lost, according to Olarn Chaipravat, a deputy economics minister.

* The prime minister's compound sustained more than $700,000 in landscaping damage along, according to the government. The National Security Council estimates stolen hardware, including computer servers and databanks, amounts to roughly $1.1 million. Uzis, laptops and golden Buddha statutes were also looted from the compound.

"WHY, YOU STUCK-UP...HALF-WITTED...SCRUFFY-LOOKING...NERF-HERDER!" Quote from The Empire Strikes Back

www.starwars.com/databank/leia-organa

When Episode I came out, I was just in love with Sebulba's podracer. So, my cave racer is a sort of tribute.

I would, by the way, be changing out pieces (specifically the cheese) if I had more orange.

Phenomenon thanks to Tim

Graphic by Jas.

Sunset at the Upper Young Lake was a troubling period. It was a mosquito fest. Inspite of the high elevation (10000ft) I was in, they were more active than ever. About a 100 of those skeeters were swarming over me, trying to land on my jackets, face (oh, my face), my hands, the camera. It soon became very frustrating as I was trying to get rid of them while trying to compose some good shots along the shore of the lake (which incidentally is the best spot to attract these suckers).

Soon, I was covered with a paste of mashed mosquitoes mixed with a liberal dose of Deet (which just helped somewhat) and some sweat from the afternoon. The cool snowmelt lake was so inviting to jump in and clean myself, but shooting the amazing sunset took higher priority.

This was one composition I ended up with while shooting into the sunset. The silhouettes of the trees and Ragged Peak in the left, along with all their reflections ended up looking like a Rorschach ink blot test.

So what do you see in the above image?

The photo would have been taken by my Dad with his Canon 35mm SLR camera.

A camera which I still believe he has today.

Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, India, 22 April 2014: ANM, Poonam administers a Measles shot to 11-month-old Armaan as his mother Fatima clutches him. The databank is then shared with frontline health workers like Auxiliary Nurse Midwifes (ANMs) for vaccine procurement and ASHA (Accredited social health activists (ASHAs) and Anganwadi workers to spread awareness on institutional deliveries and breastfeeding.

The ones in the right side of the display are kind of retro looking. Here's a mid-80's Casio Databank watch/calculator commercial (wow, they could remember up to *50* different things!): youtu.be/00XdqYM4JkY

Though police are pursuing charges, they admit that suing the group's core leaders for damage caused by violent enforcers will be tricky...

...

THE UPRISING'S COST

Weber.

Now bearing the title Redseer, Vor’Xan is capable of predictive warfare, using quantum logic loops and echo-pattern surveillance to anticipate decisions before they’re made. His glowing crimson eyes are not just sensors, but active pulse-transmitters, capable of disrupting enemy neural fields and short-circuiting command hierarchies through sheer visual contact.

The rigid, black tactical armor fused to his form is reinforced with subdermal hexsteel, laced with deep-data tendrils that feed him constant combat analytics. The synthetic light flowing through his chestplate pulses in time with his mind’s command loops.

He does not raise armies.

He corrupts them from within.

He does not invade territory.

He erases it from predictive star charts.

when it comes to watches, i've always loved function over form. my best friend, simon gave me his casio databank--watch of my childhood dreams--& re-ignited the casio love in me. practically unchanged since their 80s debuts, you can't really beat a casio for reliability & longevity. i think they have great design lines, too.

Like the 'spectrum' of ASD/aspergers that *everyone* is on somewhere, there's apparently this thing called the 'Kinsey scale' that everyone is 'on' somewhere. Who knew! I don't know where I fit on it with little to no 'experience base' to use for assessing it.

How do you figure out your own sexuality and sexual preferences ?

I've spent my whole adult life trying to work that out and still don't really know.

woke up late. and suddenly i had the urge to go thrifting. luckily the shops werent closed yet. bought a pussy bow chiffon-y top and a red dress. a bit big, but i can make it work with a belt or something.
