Just my fooling around with a free photo editor called Darktable. I'm rather impressed with what it can actually do and there's tons of options.

My take on the Castle of Noisy, probably the mother of all abandoned castles.

My visit has been brutally interrupted (I mean it) by the incoming of the guard; Consequently, I did not had the time to take all the pictures I wanted. This is particularly true for the main entrance and the classroom.
I visited the castle mid of April 2016 and my feelings are that castle is really in advanced damaged state. It has probably exceeded the point of no return. As I see it, it probably will be destroy any time soon.
If you plan to visit the castle, please be very cautious becaused of the damaged state. And if you see the guard arriving, do yourself a favor and run in the opposite direction.

I love some of these mountains - particularly the smooth saddle shape of Sron nam Forsair, that small foothill of Clach Leathad.
Also in colour.
