For sometime I have been packing wrong lens for the wrong occasion. I should have taken 18-105 mm here. This sunset would have been bigger and better.

I have stopped using all those window based software after discovering darktable on linux. Its brilliant and quite efficient as well. It has and hdr processing module as well. But have to figure out how to get the best out it. If you haven't tried it, you must.

There are many RAW converters for Linux, but none of them could replace Adobe Lightroom completely.

This program, Darktable, comes as close as it gets. I only made the mistake to assume that 'Import' would store my RAW files on the hard drive, just like Lightroom does. It doesn't, which costed me a few images. Fortunately I edited and converted them to JPEG already.
