Shot with an ultra cheap Meike LED ring flash and a Voigtländer Nokton 50mm eqiv. @ f/0.95. Minimal color correction in Darktable.

Okay, so this picture represents a test shot I took with a Canon 100-400 lens at the shop. Lighting was quite off, and this has been exposed for the 1/500s on ISO 3200. The amazing part was how much detail Darktable was able to pull from the image and rid it of the noise it was exhibiting. I'm still grasping the workflow there, but already I'm able to work with it.

Processed with Darktable and Gimp on Linux. Cheers to Linus and the community!
