Yesterday was a beautiful, mild, sunny Autumn day. I couldn't resist the allure of being drawn away from my office into the afternoon sun to take some shots.

We are moored on the right, and I went off to look for scenes to photograph. I set my tripod here on the path, liking the view through the bridge with the light flickering on the underside of it, and the boats in the background. Then a man came along on a bike and stopped so as not to get in my picture. Then he asked if that was a good spot to take a picture from, so I told him I liked it, and he said if it was good for me he'd take a picture too, and took a little camera out of his pocket! He must have presumed I knew what I was doing just because I had a camera on a tripod :) Actually I've got blown highlights, so I'm sure someone will tell me I should try HDR, but I still thought it was worth uploading.
