Pretty much hate all of these photos, as the lighting was horrible.
All of the photographers were complaining about it and one even said this was the hardest gig he had to shoot.
Oh well.
Merge of two macro images using a spacer to create a kind of pano. Viewed at 100% I love the clarity - the spikes in the seed heads look extraordinary.
The Dandy ceased publication just before Christmas.
This was my Dad's, and dates from 1953 when he would have been 14 years old.
