In India, tour operators (including drivers of tourist cars) have to have permits to operate in each state, they usually get an All India permit. When driving between states they must pay a levy to the state. At the Uttar Pradesh - Rajasthan border some locals take advantage of the tourist cars by using dancing bears to perform.
The car in front contained an Indian family, who paid for the performance, they did not try it on with us, we gave them such a stare they did not even try - which is incredibly rare in India. People will usually hassle a tourist in the foul old ron type of way.... give me some money and I will leave you alone.

Some of the essential artifacts from the original Dancing Bears Lounge adorn the new space as a way to remember and pay homage to the past.
