Kalbeliya is one of the most sensuous dance forms of Rajasthan, performed by a tribe of the same name. They are famous for their dance which is an integral part of their culture.
One of the dances is the Baewei dance.
The musicians belong to the Rangi Rang Sindhi Sufi group; they are muslims.

Karagattam Karagam is a folk dance with musical accompaniment. Balancing a water pot on the head the dancer performs. Traditionally, the villagers in praise of the rain goddess Mari Amman and river goddess, Gangai Amman, performed this dance with water pots balanced on their heads. In Sangam literature, this dance is mentioned as Kudakoothu. This dance has two parts, the Aatta Karagam and the Shakti Karagam. More often it is danced with decorated pots on the head and is known as Aatta Karagam and this symbolises joy and merriment. Aatta Karagam is performed only in temples, while the Shakti Karagam is mainly entertainment. Karagattam is one of the more popular rural dances today. Earlier it was performed only with accompaniment of the Naiyandi Melam but now it includes songs also.

The dance floors at this year’s Hot Jazz Jubilee were busy as usual as the bands played. It looked like those who were moving in accord with the music were having a great time.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the annual outdoor Battery Dance Festival went virtual this year, like so many other performances.
So there was no live festival and most of the international dance companies that participated did so via video.
But NYC let the Festival film a handful of the performers live, albeit in the very early morning, as a way to discourage curious onlookers. These are some of the companies that participated; but this necessarily is a very small sampling.

After a camel safari in the Thar Desert, guest can relax around the campfire, enjoying live music and dance performances by the "Mangnibar" tribe of professional singers.
Rajasthan Desert Safari Camp is located at the Sam Sand dunes on the edge of the Desert National Park in the midst of the Thar Desert. The camp provides all the comforts required by a modern day traveler. The accommodation consists of luxury tents with attached permanent baths having running hot and cold water.

The Bihu dance is a folk dance from the Indian state of Assam related to the festival of Bihu. This joyous dance is performed by both young men and women, and is characterized by brisk dance steps,and rapid hand movement. Dancers wear traditionally colorful Assamese clothing.
