it's hard to tell but she is dancing with bubbles that i had brought from home.... the children had never seen any... it was quite a magical moment for all them and for me!

again, this is little 5-year old bhuwaneshwari, who spent her first week crying at the orphanage, but then found her smile again...

At Phnom Penh classical dance school, a young dancer was going through morning exercise with her classmates under the watchful eyes of her instructor. The instructor (Mrs Vong Metrei) and her mother are the survivors of the Pol Pot persecution in 1975, especially against artists, returned and continue this thousand year tradition that symbolizes the Khmer people and spirit.

I struggled with not wanting to exceed iso800 that limited the shutter speed and shalow DOF in this series.
