Dancing dancing.
In the middle of the streets
Down the rivers and in the cities
Flying over the kitchen floor
At noons and midnights
Over here and far from there
As no one sees me
I'll be dancing
As no one sees me I'll be dancing, dancing.
Fooling around my loneliness.

Charlotte is dancing a jitterbug with the dance instructor. 💃💕💙
Charlotte’s dress is a handmade dress I got at a Doll Show & Sale.
This reminds me of scenes from “Dirty Dancing.” Also it reminds me of the song “Wake Me up Before You GoGo” as that song starts by saying “Jitterbug!” 💕💖🐞

Christian Dedeene, he was for 5 years a solo and star dancer with one of the greatest choreographers of the century 20th , Maurice Bejart. I was fortunate to have him in our studio a couple of times, and what an experience it was, each time.
Thanks Christian, for being so patient and sharing my artistic vision.
This is the result of having a professional ballet dancer in the studio, up for a challenge and something different.
How do you capture the graceful, often powerful movement and action with such a static medium?
And challenging it was, as ballet dancers need to be able to fix on a point to execute the figures correctly and land on the same spot.
This image is taken in a completely dark studio. Technically challenging though it is, the results always thrill me.
We had tremendous fun and are happy with the results.
This has been achieved by strobe flashing.
NO DIGITAL MANIPULATION. ONE SINGLE EXPOSURE, ONE NEG. Taken on Hasselblad and black &white film!
Modern photographic stroboscopy in its simplest form is a method whereby a subject in motion is lit by repeating flashes of light while the shutter of the camera remains open for a period of time long enough to capture the subject in multiple locations during the time of exposure...
Not as many now seem to think, just using FLASH!
Thanx for visiting, Magda, (*_*)
