A Tomica casting quite literally the same age as me which makes it not quite in the first flushes of youth ;-p but one which continues in production after all these decades.
Its still only referred to by Tomica as a "London Bus" even though this Daimler Fleetline with its Hong Kong Jumbo bodywork would never have been used in London nor anywhere in the UK. In the fast moving Tomica line up its longevity its something of a miracle but is clearly still loved and still very useful for giving it endless new liveries and recolours. Alas, for the basic mainline it continues to use this red Pet World release year after year for well over a decade now.
One of very many I just couldn't resist grabbing from various retailers whilst out in Japan, this example coming from a gigantic Yodabashi Camera store.
