I made this for my friend who liked my other dagger bracelet. This is a square stitch base and then each seed bead is embellished with a dagger.
Odd looking but it solves the mystery of the thing I found in Patapsco the other day.....smaller version of this I think.
A simple dagger with a wooden grip. Not much to say about this one, I was mostly trying a new blade technique out.
Judging by its typical "dagger pose", this is most likely one of several species of oak-feeding Dagger Moth caterpillars that can be found within the higher elevations of the Catoctin Mountains.
(My guess... an Ovate Dagger (Acronicta ovate)

Meet the newest member of our family. This is Dagger. Hes going to be Miss Chelseas boyfriend as soon as she quits hissing at him. :)
Base made with size 8/0 beads and then embellished with daggers. Design can be found in Bead & Button August 2005.
This object is 4000 years old. It is a dagger made of bronze. It was found in arable land in Sweden, Scania, Tygelsjö parish, Pile. You can see it at the Museum of National Antiquities in Stockholm.
