e728 --- Dagger --- Ivory/Metal; Japan. Donated by Stephens, O.B.

Everyone, meet Mr. Dagger Dodds. One of my best friends' son. He was born about a month ago. He is so stinkin cute!! And I love his wall in the nursery. Jamie and her mom painted it all.

Geez, I am baby hungry and all my friends are popping out little things all over the place. Oh and they are all getting engaged and married. . . Lucky turds.

This is the first in the series that I took and it was pretty experimental.

I used my poor mum as the model and she had great fun telling everybody she had met that on Sunday night her daughter 'killed' her!

I tried the knife in numerous positions as I was not sure what the natural position for it to be left after the killer had flee'd... I presume few people would know this!

I shot this in pitch black with my flash gun which created a nice 'natural' vignettte. This has very little editing.

Ceremonial Prussian army officer's dagger made in the 1930s by Paul Weyersberg & Co., Solingen.

The dagger has a pointed blade with a grove and one sharpened edge. Its handle is topped with an eagle's head and the hilt decorated with oak leaves. The scabbard has a fastening to clip onto a belt.

Such daggers were worn on ceremonial occasions such as regimental banquets and weddings. It was brought back to Scotland as a war trophy at the end of World War II.

A beautiful Dagger that was on the top of a Cherry leaf. After the sun was up I returned and it was gone. I believe it is a Cherry Dagger Caterpillar.

had a go at this great design, trying to iron out some of the things that bugged me about it.

the dagger belonging to my Dziadek (Grandfather).

I estimate it to be anywhere from 70-90 years old.
