Kotte Esala Perahera is the grand festival of Esala held in Sri Lanka. Happening in September in Kotte,. It is very grand with elegant costumes. It is a Buddhist festival consisting of dances and colourfully decorated elephants. There are fire-dances, whip-dances, Kandyan dances and various other cultural dances. The elephants are usually adorned with lavish garments.

Ik weet eigenlijk niet of de komende illustraties de themanaam 'Dada face' waardig zijn maar het deed me er
wel aan denken. Voor wie een idee wil hebben van wat Dada betekent, dit stond er o.a. op Wikipedia.
Dada is een kunst net onder de realiteit. Kunstenaars hielden zich bezig met voorwerpen te gebruiken die eigenlijk al bestonden. Zij maakten er net iets anders van dan het eigenlijk moest voorstellen.

My original experiment on the renewed popularity of the stylophone re-issue as seen in this post has been wildly successful. I will post more music soon. I am building a nice collection of transcribed music for the stylophone which I will try to share in the near future. Keep visiting here for more updates...This song can be played with the Stylophone Beatbox on a loop re-creating the simple Casio VL-1 rock beat( the rock beat is also heard more recently on Fergie's "Clumsy"). Went to Sarah's today.. her dad borrowed a camera from the university he teaches at, and we were using it cause he's gone to Ontario... I LOVE IT! and they had some tripods laying around, so we went out and i figured out how to use the long exposure on it, and this happened. IT'S SNOWING! Pablo(exchange student from Columbia..) said he likes it.. but I don't like it so much.. too cold. but pretty:)) ..his first time seeing snow! :)
At 8 months, she is upwardly mobile! Amelia is pulling up to standing! She is still mostly a mama's (and sometimes daddy's) girl - she gets a little bit nervous with new people. But once she warms up to you, you're all set. She loves trying all the foods on our plates! She says dadada and nanana, as well as some good squeals and screeches. She has 3.5 teeth! She is an expert at waving and clapping, and she is perfecting her peekaboo skills!
Perhaps this is the work of ants influenced by the Dada movement.
All over the brick-paved surface, sand had mysteriously appeared from between the crevices.... Ah, the wonders to be discovered in macro mode.

物質材料：LED，電路板，電線，Styrofoam。
作品是由將近三萬顆LED佈滿展場空間，LED由數十個單位的電路晶片板組成，所有線材及運作電子原件都外露，而展場中央放置一個巨型人耳雕塑，材質是白色光滑質感。
第一眼觀看作品時視覺經驗法則將形體（耳朵）的意向勾勒出一個連結，連結到一種功能性導向的音頻顯示器，將輸出聲音的訊號源電平之輸出值，直接用視覺化的形式呈現；LED跳動的方式是類似多種音源的運作方式，視覺閱讀上連結到一種非常吵雜及大音壓的感官經驗。然而當觀者直接進入作品中，這簡單的連結似乎產生了另外一個更加多元的空間，一種介於感官能動及物質質地交滲的視覺經驗。光波經由上萬個單位發光體（LED）以音頻律動方式在視網膜上跳躍，視覺質地與閃動的頻率觸感摻雜一種時代美感素，一種近似新新人類當下生活型態視覺感官經驗的微型再現；而光波也具有一種非物質的視覺特質，視覺經驗上也投射到一些較為形上的抽象經驗。
LED是一個新世代科技產物，發光的原理事和傳統燈泡運作模式有極為不同的物理性質，作品中每個光源都是以一種單元化的方式運作，跳動的方式也經由作者刻意的安排，以之前提到的類似音頻顯示器隨機律動；展場空間除了光波沒有明顯聲波的運作（作者刻意留下些微電子傳輸的極微聲響），線材及電路版刻意的保留外露，配合雕塑光滑白透的視覺觸感，在原先視覺經驗法則的連結下（聲音只是一個意念上的主題），標向了一個經由視覺引發「無關聽覺」的空白，自然納入科技冷冽的當下美感素，也提供了主體自身經驗的再開發。

Tja was solls - unser 2 jähriger David ist voll auf diese Platte abgefahren. Er hat wie wild darauf getanzt. Daher ist diese Single schlicht und einfach die wichtigste Platte von 1982 !!!:-)))
