This section of the Eucalyptus log was red inside, and had checks that make it look a bit like a citrus fruit, or melon. Neat!

The outside of the bark in the surrounding shots. I love this coloration and texture. It looks like cement, almost.

Amazing how much of these limbs is spongy, peeling bark.

These smaller branches show only a few years' worth of growth rings, with green piths and purple cambiums.

International Streetart Exhibition - Musma Gallery Brussels

Inspired by the cut-up experiments of William Burroughs, I used various techniques to create original cut-up compositions

Eucalyptus Longhorned Borer trails and excrement.

This is a location where a few big branches split off. I like how each of the 2 closest to the camera here are in different states of health. The whiter one at left is fairly healthy. The one at right is mostly dried out and dead. I think that may have been trimmed from the tree awhile ago, exposing it, and then I came in later and made the newer cuts.
