Every once in a while, TJ just stops and licks my legs for 5 minutes.

So far, I've seen no fighting, lots and lots of trips into the yard, no "marking" indoors, and TJ loves laying down on the cool hardwood floors! I think I did good! I have posted the video of moving day on their YouTube Page.

This is Billy! Another Billy and they are almost the same breed, how crazy is that? (This Billy is a purebred Jack Russell, the other Billy is a Cattle Dog X Jack Russell - both super cute and photogenic!)
For this gorgeous little dude, we did a Christmas Mini Pet Session, as I am working on my 2021 Calendars. Billy was such a good boy, working himself hard for those sweet doggy treats that we had on hand. It didn't take him long to get used to the Santa hat, in fact, I don't think he even noticed it because of all the sweet, delicious snacks around.
We got some great expressions from him, he knows how to work a camera.
During his session, his little human; Prue, decided to take him for a short walk around the park and when they returned, Billy was soaked! Apparently he 'pulled' her into the fountain, however; she was completely dry.. Hmm, suspicious much? Haha. 😂
My roommate's friends brought over their gentle dogs on their way to travel to fun places this weekend.

With the good news in on Teddy, I can turn my attention back to TJ. He's been a little neglected the last 48 hours and even developed what my friends are calling a "sympathatic limp". So, he got out to the dog park (hated it), a special delicious treat (devoured it), and lots and lots of lovin' (eats it up). I thought a Batman bandana was appropriate since TJ has that dark side...but he's still one of my heroes. (wow, that was corny)

When the vet heard his coughing and that his heart murmur had become louder he took him back for x-rays to see if he had "heart failure lungs"...I sunk in my chair waiting. The X-rays looked great! His lungs looked "terrific" and his heart was "fine"!!! Its just his always collapsing trachea, so he prescribed a dialator and a cough suppressant.

Ten things about Teddy
1. Can't hear anymore (16 years old).
2. Doesn't care about toys.
3. Is down to three teeth.
4. Has a smile that could warm the devil's heart.
5. Thinks kissing is playing.
6. Won "Doggy of the Millenium" as voted on by me in 2000.
7. Misses having a yard to patrol.
8. Will do ALMOST anything for Pup-peroni.
9. Will do ANYTHING for real pepperoni off the pizza.
10. Is my best friend and changed my life forever when he sat contently in my hands all night on a mid-September evening in 1994. I knew I had found my soul mate.
I swear all he wants is to be in my lap. This is why I can't really take him anywhere. Suggestions welcome!!!

My roommate's friends brought over their gentle dogs on their way to travel to fun places this weekend.
Sampson has been our buddy since 2004. In the winter of 2008, he suffered a severe perineal hernia that required a $2000 surgery to repair it. At the time of the surgery, we were told that due to the severity of the hernia that it was likely to reoccur. As predicted, it has reoccurred and he desperately needs more surgery. Other than the hernia, he is a happy, healthy and active dog who should live to his mid to late teens. Therefore, I cannot in good conscience end his life prematurely. I have also contacted a Corgi rescue in hopes that he could be adopted to a family that is more financially able to care for him. However, since my husband and I can't have children, giving him up for adoption because of health issues seems as ridiculous to us as giving up our 9 year old child for adoption because we can't keep up with the medical expenses. So please consider donating whatever small amount you can to help keep Sampson with the family that loves him. Sampson, his Corgi buddies Shiloh & Rusty and his human family thank you! TJ's been spending time in Teddy's bed lately, so I went and bought him his own tiny dog bed. I was planning on buying him a Dallas Cowboys blanket to keep him warm, but while I was doing laundry I had put my bedspread on the ground and within about 3 minutes TJ had curled up in it and started to nod off. I like to think it's because it smells like me. :) Needless to say, I bought a new bedspread for myself and now TJ has the biggest bedspread for a tiny dog bed ever.
