Unfortunately, much like Teddy with his fractured paw, our White Sox are expected to limp through the season. But we'll back them all the way nonetheless!!! They open here in Dallas/Ft. Worth, but thanks to Teddy breaking his paw, I can't even think about going. :(

For all our new friends, this is TJ (TJ =Teddy Jr, Teddy Bear's son). He must be the most tenaciously loyal dog ever and I love him dearly. When he's happy you better be ready to be kissed to death! However....we all live by what I call "TJ's Rules". First, take your shoes off - if you don't it means you're leaving and he will let you know he doesn't appreciate that. Next, (front door excluded) no doors are allowed to be closed. If you do, he will immediately scratch at it, cry, bark, and eventually pee on it. Also, your plate is supposed to be his appetizer - he cries while you eat and its not easy to enjoy a meal. Worst of all, Teddy is no longer allowed to enter a room TJ is in...yes, the unprovoked attacks on Teddy continue if I'm not in the room. :( TJ Koeller, age 14. He'll always be a baby and I wouldn't trade him for the world.

Somebody is about to spend a lot of time with Dad. Now I can take TJ with me where ever I go! I hated leaving him alone the other day, so I bought him his own car booster seat and pet carrier since he likes to be held while out-n-about.
Dogs have amazing instincts. Somehow he knew the pet carrier was for him, even though he’s never seen one a day in his life. Watch the short clip on their YouTube Page.

He's been sleeping a lot, eating only once a day, and "coughing" a lot. Its starting to remind me of three years ago when his liver was failing and he almost died. :(

It is always fun to watch the puppies play. Here they are at the shelter in a specially designed display that can be used can, kittens, puppies and small dogs. The display is glass enclosed and allows room for people to come in and interact with them. These tow got adopted quickly and is the case with most puppies like these.
I left him at the groomer on Tuesday but they called because he was too stressed. He was falling down, acting too nervous and they knew that it wasn't like him. So I left work early to bring him home, but had to leave him in the midst of heavy storms and the tornadoes up north in Oklahoma. The poor little guy sacked out as soon as I returned and slept all night.

I see this adorable little dog as I walk to one of my favorite birding overlooks. As soon as he sees me, he gets his ball and drops it through the gate; he then looks at me with great anticipation, "Please," he says silently. I toss the ball up the driveway. In a moment he is back for more. To end the game I throw the ball as far as I can into the yard and then dash out of sight.
