This is my rotti/cocker spaniel mix puppy Chubby. He is now 1 1/2 years old and we have gone thru 3 harmony remotes. He got the first one off the coffee table. The second one off the book shelf and the third out of a cupboard. We have now gone to individual remotes and are on the second receiver remote. His most recent was eating chunks of 6 xbox games’s.
Teddy Bear, snuggled up for bed on a cold winter night...years ago (when he still had teeth).

The magical evening that was The 10th Annual New York Pet Fashion Show. Bella Mia won The 2014 Best Dressed Dog Award wearing Anthony Rubio Designs. Anthony Rubio won the 2014 Pet Fashion Designer Of The Year Award with his original convertible floral couture master piece. Thank You Ada Nieves, Gregg Oehler and the entire crew at The 2014 New York Pet Fashion Show. #NYPetFashionShow
Thank you everyone for the congratulatory remarks. Although I'm very grateful for receiving the 2014 Pet Fashion Designer Of The Year Award. For me, it's about the dogs. In this case, it's all about Bella Mia. I was overjoyed when she was awarded The 2014 Best Dressed Dog Award wearing Anthony Rubio Designs. Thank you. All my best, Anthony

I suck. I'm eating a slice of pizza when I look to my right and see the world's cutest dog flashing me the world's cutest smile. I let the auto-focus screw me out of the perfect shot. On the other hand, how lucky am I for eating a delicious slice of pizza while seeing this handsome face? Life is so good. :)

This was down on the little stream that ran through the caravan park, right where we had this rope swing.
Ben seemed to enjoy it down there, trying to swim in this super shallow stream!

We always root for our home town girl! Especially in the Daytona 500. I think Teddy got over it quickly though.

One of our dogs, Maggie, enjoys paper and cardboard products every once in a while. It's usually when she is upset with us about something, but here is a photo of one of her early "messes" after she was angry with us for going on a date night. She chewed and ripped a stack of magazines, some important paperwork, dragged a huge comforter off the bed and chewed holes in it, and put tooth-sized puncture wounds in some pricey decorative pillows. If I remember correctly, she also peed on the comforter, for emphasis. She is otherwise the sweetest and most laid-back dog we have ever known.
Last weekend TJ's troublesome trachea finally collapsed. He struggled to breathe as the vet confirmed through x-rays that his esophagus was essentially closed. TJ was too old for surgery and the oxygen mask system would only have made him miserable. Either way, the vet said there's almost no chance he would be himself again. So, as he lay nearly limp in my arms with almost no energy left, I snapped one last shot of my beautiful baby and decided to end his suffering. He lived 15 years, going full-throttle every minute, and I wouldn't trade one second for anything.
It's 100 degrees in DFW!! It's summer!!!

Well, we had a close call this year in which the baby almost died. With all his health problems I only gave him 9 or 10 years...so it's been 5 years of free love!!! Happy Birth Day Teej! This is TJ at 5 weeks back in 1997, before he even came home.

Sorry for the lack of photos. I've been traveling a lot and its been fun, but we miss each other when I'm gone. He's not very happy in this photo because when I brought him home from the groomer he saw my bag packed and I think he knows I'm leaving again. :(

TJ is home and resting. No answers though. Vet thinks the fever was from a tooth issue (really bad teeth) and that the diarrhea was coincidental. The tests came back normal so he only will be concerned if he keeps vomitting. He thinks the blood in the stool may have been from K-9 Colitis. So we sit...and wait to see what happens over the next 24 to 48 hours. :(

So far, I've seen no fighting, lots and lots of trips into the yard, no "marking" indoors, and TJ loves laying down on the cool hardwood floors! I think I did good! I have posted the video of moving day on their YouTube Page.

This is Billy! Another Billy and they are almost the same breed, how crazy is that? (This Billy is a purebred Jack Russell, the other Billy is a Cattle Dog X Jack Russell - both super cute and photogenic!)
For this gorgeous little dude, we did a Christmas Mini Pet Session, as I am working on my 2021 Calendars. Billy was such a good boy, working himself hard for those sweet doggy treats that we had on hand. It didn't take him long to get used to the Santa hat, in fact, I don't think he even noticed it because of all the sweet, delicious snacks around.
We got some great expressions from him, he knows how to work a camera.
During his session, his little human; Prue, decided to take him for a short walk around the park and when they returned, Billy was soaked! Apparently he 'pulled' her into the fountain, however; she was completely dry.. Hmm, suspicious much? Haha. 😂
My roommate's friends brought over their gentle dogs on their way to travel to fun places this weekend.
Sampson has been our buddy since 2004. In the winter of 2008, he suffered a severe perineal hernia that required a $2000 surgery to repair it. At the time of the surgery, we were told that due to the severity of the hernia that it was likely to reoccur. As predicted, it has reoccurred and he desperately needs more surgery before 2012. Other than the hernia, he is a happy, healthy and active dog who should live to his mid to late teens. Therefore, I cannot in good conscience end his life prematurely. I have also contacted a Corgi rescue in hopes that he could be adopted to a family that is more financially able to care for him. However, since my husband and I can't have children, giving him up for adoption because of health issues seems as ridiculous to us as giving up our 9 year old child for adoption because we can't keep up with the medical expenses. We work in the service industry, living paycheck to paycheck and our credit is not good enough to get a care credit card that would allow us to make payments. To help us pay for Sampson's surgery, we have set up a ChipIn donation site to raise funds for Sampson's surgery. So please consider donating whatever small amount you can to help keep Sampson with the family that loves him. If you can't make a donation, please pass this info along to friends who may be able to help. Sampson, his Corgi buddies Shiloh & Rusty and his human family thank you! Click on the link below to go to Sampson's ChipIn.com page to make your donation. THANK YOU!!
