Hello everyone! It's been a long time since I've posted anything here, but I want to introduce my newest MIO Pullip that I had just finished working on, Kinoko! I'm pretty happy with how she's turned out!

She's going to change slightly soon ! I already dressed her hair a new way, changed her eyes for Animal Eyes from Lullaby and also put her new lashes !
I'm going to sew her a new outfit and buy her some accessories !
She's one of my favorite girls !

Little Zooey... You did not see her very frequently since she arrived, I know. But she's been up in the clouds almost every day! Time flies by, and even though the day she first arrived does not seem very far away, the truth is that it's actually been long since then.
Long enough for Zooey to grow up! It is known that the color tones in sky children's eyes and hair fluctuate even during the day, depending on what's going on up in the clouds (since their appearance is a kind of mirror reflecting the happenings "above"). But also with age, as they get older and especially into adulthood, the permanent features of their complexion begin to appear. The faint jewel tones in Zooey's hair change all the time (it is in fact obvious if you are patient enough to sit still and watch), but gold and orange shades in her eyes and eyelashes appeared recently. Even her expression became somehow...more serious and concerned.
For us, it feels like a miracle to watch such a special girl growing up and everyone at home feels so lucky to have her with us. But, Zooey does not want to grow up! "It doesn't seem like it's worth it" she put frankly while I took this picture. "I know I won't ever be able to find again the things I'll lose while growing up. So I'm going to play silly games more than ever, perhaps this will stop me from growing up..."
She really seems to worry about this a lot, lately. I guess I have to tell her that it is not the process of growing up that makes you lose some things. If you do your best, you can preserve the little you inside, precious Zooey, And you know what, you will be such a sweet young girl!

I like my little doll family, I find it more tender- like a group of close friends....let's just hope it stays this small for a while ^-^U
The delightful scent of the cake absolutely has to include a perfect balance of the ingredients. But when Raffaello sniffs for quality control after each baking session, it is not the conventional ingredients he expects to find the aroma of. Just behind the veil of the expected aroma (which has to be perfect as well, undoubtedly), just at the moment the human nose has adjusted to it and it loses weight on the senses, there is one more thing. That is what he is after, what he needs to smell and more importantly, be sure that it is perfectly tuned.
Is this not a very heavy responsibility for a fragile young man's shoulders..? The family has stopped quarrelling about this matter long ago. Perhaps this duty fits perfectly to his sensitive soul, or perhaps it is so unfair. The family was never able to settle upon anything, but things worked perfectly as they are. That evening, nothing seemed or smelled to be out of the ordinary, either. He took a long breath and...the balance was perfect.
Ugh..I really don´t know what to do with Flickr. It makes me so sad they´ll change the system next year. :´( But I do understand why they need to do it. All those other social media platforms are getting more and more users nowadays.
I have been here for about 10 years now (I started from Livejournal and then changed to Flickr) because photo uploading system is much easier to use than others I have tried. Also Flickr looks nice and photostream is simple yet easy to browse. To be honest, this place have been like my second home for my photos! ♥ It will take a lot of time to relocate these photos to somewhere else. I´m not sure if I´m ready for that. -_-
Here's my entry for the Pullip-Tography Contest: round one Natural Beauty! Spring may not have arrived just yet but I love where I live and this is a fitting portrait of it. At least the sky was beautiful and the wind played perfectly with Rose's hair ribbon n_n She was just happy to be romping around outside, a daydreamer like her always has her head in the clouds ^^

It's a yucky rainy day outside and Pleasure is slightly depressed and bored. What's a little girl to do?
New slightly gore custom by Myufish (fairly tame compared to like Alice Omega). I've been wanting a girl with a stitched mouth for a long while, she was made from a MIO kit.
It has been a dream for me bring her to life as a Pullip, for a very long time. Finally and thankfully, I am able to reveal her. Meet Aurora, the pure and kind princess who will bring light back to the kingdom of Lemuria. At all costs.
She is lovely as she is, but the process of creating her was a very beautiful experience. Her parts arrived literally from different corners of the world, each made by very talented and kind-hearted people very similar to her ;)
Her face up was done by Shaiel, she was a Kirsche originally. Her giant sword and crown by Jannette Le (Project Doll House), her burning eyes by Kiki&Chrysanthemum. Her wig and dress made by me. ❤︎

"Oh B-... Birdie..." she said. Eloise intended to call out loud to her sister, but when that moment came, she just couldn't. Her heart seemed to occupy a much larger place in her chest than it was supposed to... So she couldn't make a sound and it came out almost like a whisper. But even from that distance, Birdie must have heard it. Or much likely, she felt it. She must have felt her little sister's presence, her heartbeats and the warmth flowing to and surrounding all around her...
She turned around... There was... Eloise.

[I don't want to ruin the moment with my own feelings, but I had to write this. Because I didn't feel so excited to introduce someone since a very, very long time. Believe it or not, I'm feeling Eloise and Birdie's excitement right now and there is a silly smile on my face. I love Birdie with all my heart. I always wanted an aviator girl from the vintage realm. And I'm so glad it was Kiki I shared this dream with. She gave amazing ideas in her creation process. For instance, the girl on my mind was not a blonde, but she suggested this wig for a vintage aviator lady. She showed me how to make her eyes, too ^^ And in the end, Birdie was born. Thanks goes to Kiki for making her come to life <3]
Making the perfect cake has many steps, which all need to be taken painstakingly and patiently. That is what Raffaello is an expert at, but...
If only he new what was going to happen, he would have checked something else, which never needed his attention or patience... Which had always been there as a family tradition. But that is why he never checked it before, and did not either, on that fateful day.
He did have respect for old times. And for people from those times. But "useless, smelly junk" was all that came to his mind when the chief editor told him he was to drive out of town and collect some trunks from a mansion which was sold by auction recently. A very old home, sold and resold, but never inhabited for some reason, after its wealthy owner died almost 70 years ago.
Mad and bored of the recent cases he was being assigned to lately, he drove to collect whatever there was to collect. The recent files he worked for were standard and boring, he even thought about quitting and focusing on his own website for a while because this job wasn't getting him anywhere further. But at the same time, it was undeniable: He felt curious and uneasy. There must be something else, this time.
"The boss must have paid a good amount of money, otherwise why would someone give family heirlooms and memories away to a magazine, for God's sake?? And what's even more strange, why would a scientific magazine want these things? What am I about to collect, really?"
He collected many things. In those trunks, there was everything one could think of when mansions, attics, families, heirlooms and memories were concerned. But among the dust and mildew and slightly rancid scent of aged vanilla, there was also the answer to his questions. One old photo he could not take his eyes away from, because he has seen those people before. But where..?? Where...?? It feels so recent and familiar...
The Roseblack Pirates! The young ladies on that very, very old photograph looked exactly like them! The music band with millions of fans worldwide! His heart was already pounding with this realization, when the real shock hit him. With a little research in the archives, it was not hard to find out that this photo was taken in 1893, showing the three female heirs of the famous Rosegold's Confectionery Chain, which stayed in operation for almost 320 years. Okay, this must be a typo. 320 years? And Roseblacks and Rosegolds? The names sound so lame, even for a badly constructed prank. But the photo and everything that came from the mansion look pretty real and accurate. And the uneasy feeling is still there in my throat... What is this?!
Here it is . . . doesn't look like the pic. I got frustrated with my fabric and decided to show her trim tummy instead. The entire outfit is made to fit so there's no velcro or anything, it just slips on. Whew! I'm glad that one's ready to model. Now, onto the next one! Still piecing together ideas for a pretty lolita dress but I'm almost ready to start the dreaded sketch. = )
It is finally time. Time for Her to come. Only when the little sad melody, played by Dawn with her accordion, is played in the right tune, and played until the end...
Only then it is time for Dusk to arrive. Because Dawn is no more. She is not herself anymore, but only Her. It is time for a sweet darkness, it is time for delicious shadows. It is time for fiery Dusk to take over, time to steal the red from sunset, time to switch to red accordions. Until it is Dawn again, tunes will play only Dusk's songs. Until she finds Herself again, Dawn succumbs to her ways...

Ruby was so tired... Those blinding lights, unending rehearsals, layers of make-up, corsets so tight making her hold her breath before making her jump from the rope some show nights... I was so glad that she decided to take a break and come to my place.
When is she going to go back to the circus? Will she ever? She is a reserved girl, but she loves the show times, too... She did not have an idea if this was only a break or a farewell to the stage, so left "dice crumbles" behind. Let's threw the dice... What do you think her chances of return are...?

You know about them, don't you? Because everyone knows about the Roseblack Pirates, no matter if they like their music or not. Yes, I'm talking about the band of young girls that caught the world's attention.
But someone recently made a discovery and things got a bit... eerie, rather than popular or sensational. I'm going to give you a bit of time to guess before showing what they found. Okay, a tiny hint: an uncanny resemblance, maybe..?
"Good luck, Ruby!" I managed to say in the last seconds, and she looked at me so sweetly before she cycled away to the stage... I knew it was going to be a magical night.
"See you!" Ruby said. And I started walking back to join the audience...
