My Custom designed and built Republic Gunship. Before start, I'd like to tell you just how hard it was to photograph this Puppy. It was almost impossible, actually. It took me about a half hour to get right. I must say, I absolutely love how this came out. Pictures don't flatter it, to put it simply. No instructions were used when building this.

Shelly is looking for a simple, modern, timeless and colorful logo for her photography business. This is the final logo she likes.

So this is my birthday present for one of my best friends! I wanted to make this as realistic as possible (as always xD) and bring in shadows and highlights since that is somehow my style by now. However this time I wanted to make it even more detailed. So I decided to give her the 11th Doctor's sonic screwdriver (she's obviously also a whovian) and her favourite book "Es" (it's just "It" trenslated to german). Everything except for the base of the face was painted by me and I fully sculpted the book and hood
This is a 1975 Chrysler Newport Custom. It didn't look that good, but HDR editing the photo gives it another vibe. But what is "Custom" here in the name of this car?

My last girl of 2017 is here!!! She's actually been waiting for her turn to shine since November, but we were waiting for the rest of her eye chips, so she's happy to be awake and ready to fly back home to New York.
Her base doll is a Simple Bubble Boom FBL, she has 1 pair of handpainted eye chips by me and 3 pairs of Puppelina eye chips. Her mom mentioned her favorite pattern is gray background with white polka dots, so I decided to add a little accent heart to match her hair as well.
She was made with lots of love so I hope you love her, and I hope she brings her momma lots of joy!
I really think that Takara produced this doll with customization in mind. She's easy to open and It's almost like they made her so plain that you HAVE to do something with her!
Getting her open was a breeze. Once disassembled, I soaked her eyes and put lighter lashes in. Boggled but didn't touch the new type of T-Bar. (Will post photo of it later)
Of all the things that I had trouble with was her eyechips! I tried everything, laughed and then got glum when I realized that I will probably have to resort to the dreaded drill. That chore made me abandon the chip removal for now.
I had an extra licca body that was a little dark and a little tight in the neck. It probably could use a some whittling but it did fit.
She ain't no BL but I could see her heritage and tried to go with it. A slight pastel face-up and a gentle re-do on the lips. No gloss yet. I think the lashes were what made the biggest improvement. It really lightened her up and if you look closely I think you can see a smile on her face...
I know she's not for everyone but, for me, she's a keeper....
Thanks ladies and gentlemen for all the input! It's been fun! ;-D
Custom lights. Made of jewelry magnetic locks, 12V band of LEDs and other stuff. The only harm to Lego bricks : 2 small holes in buffer frame plus a bit of 10secs glue to connect magnets to magnet coupler.
Custom fender installation from a article by Peter Weigle in Bicycle Quarterly, Vol. 9 No.2 Winter 2010.
I have used this article several times in fender installation. It is a ton of work, but makes the fenders so much stiffer and stronger.
Ay, tengo que ponerle un nombre que tenga que ver con "Luna". Yo había pensado en Mooncake o algo así, aunque a esta el nombre que de verdad le pega es Tartaleta.

For 1957, Ford made two quite different versions of the large car, the Fairlane body and the Custom body. The cabin areas were larger on the Fairlane, and the length of body and chassis. I suspect the slightly more stylish longer car encouraged people to pay a little more
