The Roman Theatre of Mérida is a construction promoted by the consul Vipsanius Agrippa in the Roman city of Emerita Augusta, capital of Lusitania (current Mérida, Spain). It was constructed in the years 16 and 15 BC.

Currently there are two very ugly barriers on the road known as the Marina and I am not sure as to why they are there but they may have something to do with crowd control when there is a match at the GAA stadium. I first became of the barriers when I discovered that Google Maps failed to gain access to the section between the two barriers. The area is attractive but it urgently some care and attention as it is badly run-down.
The Mariana dates from 1900 and at the time was later described as follows: "The Marina is a delightful, tree-lined promenade on the south bank of the River Lee, of which it commands some exquisite peeps. Easy of access, this promenade is a delight to visitors, and has been greatly improved in recent years, a bandstand having been provided; there are also seats and rustic shelters at intervals. Within easy reach of the park and racecourse."
Currently the Marina is in the process of being redeveloped as a public amenity. Demolition work on the old Showgrounds was completed late last year, paving the way for the construction of the multi-million euro project includes the redesign of the entire Marina, from the Shandon Boat Club to Blackrock, including grounds around Páirc Uí Chaoimh [GAA stadium] and the Atlantic Pond.

Currently residing at the San Francisco Zoo, this Lowland Gorilla is striving to achieve that forlorn stare....that perfect and thoughtful "Olan Mills" expression. Olan Mills, for the uninitiated, was a commercial portrait photographer who many may remember, from back in the 70's and 80's when mother would drag the whole family, dressed in their "Sunday best", to Sears for the family portrait. I bet their kid never looked like this!
Current UW Oshkosh students network with private sector, nonprofits and government agencies involved in the practice of sustainability on March 1st, 2018 in the Reeve Memorial Union ballroom on the UW Oshkosh campus. Students majoring in environmental studies, STEM fields, sociology, social justice and more attended the event.
These are the books I'm currently working my way through. Sadly, Wozniak's book reads like it was written by a nine-year-old - a real disappointment.

Currently, the statue of Vishnu is 23 metres (75.5 ft) high, although the original plan was for a 146-metre (479 ft) gold-plated Vishnu riding Garuda on top of an 11-storey entertainment complex. Garuda wing span will be 64 metres (210.0 ft) across.[1] When it's completed, it will be the largest statue in the world.[2] The idea was not without controversy, and religious authorities on the island complained that its massive size might disrupt the spiritual balance of the island, and that its commercial nature was inappropriate.
