Why did we go to Murray's Mill after church this morning?
A couple months ago, in May, Joe met Jennifer, Murray's Mill Historic District site manager, at a Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary church archive workshop in Columbia, South Carolina; at that time he told her we would like to come to her ice cream social today.
And we did!
We had a great time at Murray's Mill Annual Ice Cream Social! And we want to return for a waterside hike and picturesque picnic at the last milling complex in the county, meticulously preserved and interpreted by the Catawba County Historical Association.
See it soon, even without the free ice cream – an awesome treat! – or one of their other events usually attended by 5,000 people!
It was a wonderful day, with a welcome high of 84⁰F (below-average temperature for July), clear blue skies, pleasant low humidity...
Going home at 4:44 p.m., my cell phone battery was at 44% and I had 555 captures! Who could've guessed? Plus Joe took all of 12!

My current family as of today. ^o^
I'm gonna do Rheia's faceup and then find her a name.
The 3 out for a faceup are at Caroline's. ♥
The 2 LTF's have been ordered blank, I'm gonna do their faceups. LTF Chloe will be most likely using her sleeping faceplate moded, because I like the LTF Chloe, but her eyes are too high up in my opinion. It always shocked me, I mean there are plenty of gorgeous LTF Chloes out there, but I still think their eyes are too high up on the face lol. So I'm gonna mod the sleeping face with open eyes, same shape as the open faceplate except that the eyes will be a little more down on the face if that makes sense. XD
Also ordered Dollzone Rosen, but didn't put her on here because I don't like uneven numbers lol.

May 30, 2001 - our 20th anniversary, and my darling wife expertly backs away from the sandbar we spent the night on into some heavy current.Day 4 was from Two Rivers down to Log Yard.
We work out booties off this past weekend to get going on the landscaping for the pool. We scored some bamboo from some friends and put those in pots at the end of the pool to create a screen so our neighbors don't have to see us. And we got blue fescue to line around the pool. It is coming along so great! We can't wait for swimming weather!!! Now to save our pennies for the patio!!!
