Trying my hair ‘straighter’ I definitely prefer it and the more subtle/natural makeup (apart from my eyes) what do you lot think? Straight or curly? X

Week 28
There was a little girl
By Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
There was a little girl,
Who had a little curl,
Right in the middle of her forehead.
When she was good,
She was very good indeed,
But when she was bad she was horrid.
Often times I do way to many versions of a single image. I can cause family members to worry about the state of my mental heath.
So I have a few favorite variations that I tuck away in a folder to post a few weeks later. Well, sometimes it actually turns out to months or even years later.
This is the color version of the curled winter petal.
Captured with iPhone and Olloclip Macro Lens edited on the iPad in Snapseed.
The black and white version can be viewed here if you wish to compare: www.flickr.com/photos/firerybroome/17008847445/in/datepos...
Giving some of my old girls a bit of attention. Her hair was a rats nest when I got her many, many years ago. I love how her curls came out. My little redhead Steffie with freckles.
Taken with a Canon 60mm USM Macro lens. Type L for a better view.

It is impossible to overstate how joyful it is to shoot portraits of a friend. That she gives you some of her time and let you invade the privacy of her home to shoot her with available light while doing her thing.
This is how I see Nadia: an amazingly beautiful woman that is all laugh and curls. I am so grateful to have been able to capture this.
After a lovely morning with Thomas, I had a hectic train ride and lost a brand new earring as it was torn out of my ear whilst I was sprinting for the train. The family had a bbq, and I wandered out to take a few simple photos with the light in the trees (none of which I was particularly proud of, but I recognise that my expectations of myself have changed a lot). I climbed a tree with blistered feet and laid there a little while.
