After a lovely morning with Thomas, I had a hectic train ride and lost a brand new earring as it was torn out of my ear whilst I was sprinting for the train. The family had a bbq, and I wandered out to take a few simple photos with the light in the trees (none of which I was particularly proud of, but I recognise that my expectations of myself have changed a lot). I climbed a tree with blistered feet and laid there a little while.

Often times I do way to many versions of a single image. I can cause family members to worry about the state of my mental heath.
So I have a few favorite variations that I tuck away in a folder to post a few weeks later. Well, sometimes it actually turns out to months or even years later.
This is the color version of the curled winter petal.
