As i sat on the hill, talking the day away with my brother (butterflies were around but quickly flapping in the opposite direction) I noticed this green thing on a seed head. Turned out to be a caterpillar. Two stacked shot.
After the coolest April temperatures in years, Spring is now here to stay!

Captured with an Auto-Takumar 35mm f:2.3, a fast wide-angle lens known amongst insiders for its great bokeh potential. Here, though the image has been cropped to a square format, the bokeh still has its attractive swirl.

I returned to my favorite little cascade at Lava Hot Springs, Idaho. This time I tried a longer lens and photos were taken looking into much brighter reflections. Depth of field was shallower with the longer lens but closer details were beautiful. Access was a little more difficult because the snow was deeper, but it was worth it.

I know it's Wednesday, and there's no bokeh, but this is the one I wanted to upload today, so HBW anyway.
Thank you for all the comments on my b&w conversion! I use lilyblue actions/presets to do them with just minor adjustments to tailor them to the particular photo. I cannot recommend them enough!
