Day 9 of an Unknown Number
"Cryoconcentrated Coffee Sludge"
Was the name too obvious? So, I was making my morning coffee when I thought, why don't I cook the coffee grounds and water for six hours in the sous vide, freeze the cooled beverage into a slushy consistency, strain it, and then mix it with vodka and Kahlua in a shaker? Well, I did, and it was delicious. Anyway, between straining and bagging for freezing, I discovered the sludge at the bottom of the straining bowl. I loved the sunrise (or set) appearance, and knew I had my photograph for the day. The image was naturally lit by the kitchen. Thanks for stopping in for a cup!!
