😊 This made me smile!
Two cups in the kitchen sink filled with water and the reflection from the faucet and handles making 'smile' reflections in the water.
On the Sparks Street Mall in Ottawa, in celebration of Canada's 150th anniversary there's a tribute Lord Stanley and the iconic cup he donated to our great game.
For (most) Canadians, having an affinity for the 'Cup is quite common. I have on two occasions been close to Cup, so as to run my fingers over the numerous names and teams to find my childhood heroes engraved there. It's quite a special feeling.
Originally commissioned in 1892 as the Dominion Hockey Challenge Cup, the trophy is named after Lord Stanley of Preston, then–Governor General of Canada, who donated it as an award to Canada's top-ranking amateur ice hockey club, which the entire Stanley family supported, with the sons and daughters playing and promoting the game.

It only take just a little insect like these aphid to make a radical alteration in the natural shape of a leaf.
This ivy leaf is about 1 cm across and it was only after I took the photo I saw how many of the little suckers were inside.

This collage was made entirely from magazine strips with a technique I call "painting with paper." I cut the paper into different shapes and layer them in such a way that they look almost like the brushstrokes in a painting.

The Avengers: Endgame movie is officially in theaters today (April 26, 2019). Our family is going to see this tonight. Yesterday, I saw a display of things with Marvel comics characters at the grocery store. As you can see, I have a picture of a cup with Groot.
I've been having this little cup for couple years now, but never found the chance to use it yet. I left the basement studio and set up this scene in the living room with only natural light.
