This is a copper fountain on the corner of Kaiserstrasse (Kaiserstraße) and An der Fleischbrücke in Nuremberg (Nürnberg). Highlighted in none of the tourism guides, it is one of many unheralded visual pleasures in the city. Twice fired surface with a matt turquoise over a shino glaze and cobalt blue wash. The inside is a glossy white with small areas where the cobalt pushed through from the outer clay surface during firing. In the sun small reflective mica particles show up. stamped and numbered on the bottom. adamwhatley.com

European Cup 10000 m - Cagliari

So I didn't get them for my birthday (a month ago), but here are the new coffee cup I have wanted for some time. They carry the logo of Dutch coffee brand Douwe Egberts and you also find them in some restaurants and coffee bars.

As Dutch readers will know, Douwe Egberts has a loyalty programme with seals printed on the packaging of it's coffee and tea products you have to save and are able to exchange for (discount on) various products like in fact these cups.
