Yesterday, I learned that I am absolute rubbish at hiding my feelings -- at least about cappuccinos.
I must have gotten lost in the deliciousness of this one; I looked up at one point to my friends laughing, and all they could spit out was, "Holy crap!" (apparently, I was pretty deep in the world of espresso)
It was phenomenal. Phenomenal.
We stopped at a French bakery for breakfast, owned by a Frenchman who still had his accent and chatted with me about Alpe d'Huez (my love) only to reveal that he's never actually been skiing, haha.
Regardless, this thing was magical. And that foam!! Mmm. A properly-foamed cappuccino is one of the fastest routes to bliss with me. It's the simple things.. :)
Happy Monday!!

Ok so normally when I drink coffee I don't dump a bag of beans on the table. But for a flickr picture, what the heck.

😊 This made me smile!
Two cups in the kitchen sink filled with water and the reflection from the faucet and handles making 'smile' reflections in the water.

This collage was made entirely from magazine strips with a technique I call "painting with paper." I cut the paper into different shapes and layer them in such a way that they look almost like the brushstrokes in a painting.
