This unique wrist cuff is made from part of a recycled vinyl record.
It is hand painted with acrylics in ultramarine blue with an original design in cerulean blue and iridescent silver. The silver has a lovely, sparkly sheen when viewed from different angles.
It would make a sweet and thoughtful, earth-friendly Valentine's Day gift!
I cut the records to size and shape them around the wrist of a mannequin I have in my studio. That means that it is actually the shape of a real human wrist. The cuff is designed for the right arm, but can be worn on the left as well.
All edges have been carefully sanded and smoothed for your comfort.
Easy to put on and take off, it does have some flexibility and can be slightly stretched "open" as needed.
This cuff comes with a little instruction card for how to resize it if needed.

The base of this one is cut from Lexee's old jeans... dark and kinda stretchy they totally work for these cuffs! I FOUND that button... LOVE it! The lace is from Lacey's in Berkeley and the daisies are from my friend Wabi as are the other PINK elements! The crocheted doilie is from a stash my friend Marion gave me!

Made of solid sterling silver, this cuff is simple in design, but contains some lovely hidden details. While the top of the bracelet appears smooth and round, the underside had been widened and stamped with a delicate flower motif...adding just a hint of femininity to this otherwise understated piece. This cuff is well-suited for a 6-7" wrist, and is a great way to wear handmade every day. 52

This Steampunk Wrist Cuff has an assortment of fabric laid out in a patchwork design. A wide strip of leather bisects the middle of the cuff. An assortment of parts including a vintage watch movement, vintage watch plate, and vintage gears adorn the front of the cuff. Snap closures are used to close the piece. The bracelet base will measure approximately 8" in length by 3 3/4" in width.
This Steampunk Wrist Cuff has a mixture of assorted cotton fabric, tullle & leather tattered and layered for a gypsy style. A vintage face and plate, metal gear and upcycled vintage earring have been hand sewn to the front of the cuff. Snap closures are used to close the piece. The cuff measures 8" in length and 5" in width.
This bracelet has a lot of Bling!
It measures 7" by 3/4" and has a beaded toggle clasp embellished with Swarovski Crystals.
The bead stitch is called the Herringbone. One of my favorites! I used Pink lined crystal Japanese Hex cut Delica glass seed beads. The Hex cut is what makes this Beaded Cuff Bracelet have so much Bling and Sparkle.
I have used very strong beading thread. Beadwoven jewelry is not like metal jewelry so care is needed for it to become a Keepsake Treasure
I've wanted to try this for a while and I need a break from the flower pieces. This happens frequently, I need time to think.
This is the start of a cuff braided bracelet and I've made several of these cuff bracelet but never added a stone. There are 8-9 1/2" lengths of 16 gauge round wire. The copper pieces are to keep the wire separated and flat while soldering on a bezel. The have marked the middle for placement of the bezel.
I enjoy looking through my copy of "Dressing a Galaxy", a book that details the work of Trisha Biggar and her team in creating the costumes for the "Star Wars" prequels. I thought it might be fun to work with some of the photos. Last night I started a bracelet inspired by this picture of Chancellor Palpatine in his Gray Federation Outfit.
