Does anyone know where I can source high gloss black tiles in a 30cm x 30cm size in the UK?
This shot is a quick test shot using 15cm x 15cm tiles sourced from Topps Tiles - taken using only a Canon Speedlite 580EX for lighting source. Flash was used with the built-in diffuser and reflective plate. Lens is a 50mm f1.8 "nifty fifty".

i got the idea from this one www.flickr.com/photos/goingsewcrazy/2545529149/in/pool-11... that i saw at sewmamasew.com and just started from there. did a chain for the lower edge of the cuff, and then just sc around and around. tried it on every now and then and increased where needed.
Cuff Bracelet - Various size and shaped beads in shades of blues and browns are sewn into circles to create this one of a kind bracelet. Each bead is handsewn, one bead at a time. This bracelet took me 33 hours to make from start to finish. The bead "wheels" are hand sewn onto a brown piece of suede. The bracelet measures 7 1/2" long and 2 1/3" wide. This bracelet is lighweight and the suede
Patches of conductive fabric on the cuffs, shoulders and hips create a serial connection between Lilypad Arduinos attached to each shirt.
This bracelet is woven up the sides to hold it together and uses labradorite beads to enhance the silver.

Circumference: 8.5"
Fairisle Circumference: 8"
Estonian Cast-on edge to heel flap: 8.75"
Estonian Cast-on edge to heel: 11"
1x1 Rib Cuff: 0.75"
Heel Flap: 2.25" h by 3.25" w
Heel turn: 1.25"
Cast on in Size 00 needles. Switch to 2.0 mm for 4 rounds past ribbing.
Switch to 2.25 mm for 14 stockinette rounds
Switch to 2.50 mm for fairisle work
Switch to 2.25 mm for 50 stockinette rounds before heel flap.
Add one more decrease to each side of flap to 66 stitches instead of 68 stitches.
Next round, decrease 1 stitch to each side of gussett to 64 stitches.
Gusset: there are 3 markers at start of gusset, one is placed at beginning of round
So it may be good to include SM at end/beginning just to avoid confusion, especially for new/unseasoned sock knitters. Otherwise, one may do an extra decrease before and after beginning marker.
Rnd 1: Knit to 3 sts before m, ssk, K1, knit to next m, K1, K2tog, knit to end, slm
Rnd 2: Knit etc..
Toe: Since I am knitting two-at-a-time using two circulars, I had no need for markers so they were removed when knitting foot around. It's clear to me from looking at the sample picture on Page 1 that a marker would be placed each side between insteps and soles with beginning marker removed (if knitters had all 3 markers on the whole time.) It's helpful to add "Remove beginning marker" at start of Toe section.
Suggestion for toe shaping re-write:
Rd1: *K12 (13, 14, or 15 stitches per size) \ K slm K / ** knit to 3 sts before next m, repeat from * to **, knit to end.
This is a fairly fresh one, my guess would be within the last month. Has Dolk moved to Oslo, or was he just passing by?
The hammered solid sterling silver cuff is 2mm thick and 10mm wide. Makes a great cuff for women and men with alarge wrist. Length of actual cuff is 6.5 (large wrist). Also available in small and medium.
The fire scale came off fine, the black marks on the cuff are the result of a bright idea I had of using permanent marker to simulate LOS.
Bad idea.
Haven't gotten it all off yet.

The graceful polished .925 silver braid in this medium width cuff is so marvelous you won't be able to turn it down! Each strand in the braid has two rows of silver rope inside of two rows of polished silver. At each end of the handcrafted cuff a polished silver piece faces inward. Oxidized silver finishing helps to bring out the details in the rope design. One of the great attributes of a cuff is that it is adjustable. You can push the ends closer together to make it smaller or pull them apart to make it bigger. Slight size adjustments will not harm the piece.
I've got a wedding of one of my best friends today and I'm his best man. So how can I go without my famous cuff links? ^_^

I bought a *lot* of stuff today - oopsie!
Well, between Goodwill and JoAnn's, I bought some twine for stitching, clothes to cut up for fabric scraps, needles to sew, a kachunger (the thing that makes the rivet holes - you know), a huge roll of leather cord, and lots of miscellaneous trinkets. I have so many ideas for things I wanna do with the leather that I can hardly contain myself - it's like a giant bubble inside me and I can only relieve the pressure by making stuff. :D
This new NERO-tastic cuff holds a little potion bottle that can be removed for refilling. Sweet, huh?
