Cuddles can be complicated in the NICU! Baby Rowan born at 27weeks+3days on Oct 27, 2007 weighing only 1125g. Here he's nearly 6 weeks old.
Sweet little Bennito getting some cuddles from mi madre. He's such a sweet guy. Reminds me so much of this photo of my dad in the same chair with Louis. I still miss that little orange guy sometimes - I bet he's an awesome kitty somewhere out there.

Some of my photos are posed, but this one isn't. I was hugging my VKC Bloodhound and the Dingo and the Alder Puppy came for their turn. The cat, of course, holds back.
This was too cute to pass up. As soon as I saw it, I grabbed my pocket camera and fired off two quick frames.
Sissy & Smokey, sharing the comfy chair that has a new seasonal throw over it. If I were to hazard a guess, Sissy was there first, and Smokey smooshed her over to grab the other corner. Smokey's that way.
Not every photograph has to be a carefully planned composition. In fact some of the best memories are captured spontaneously, such as this. Since I seldom see these two snuggling together, this had to be a quick grab. Now I've got the image to smile over, days and years from now.
I'm chuckling even as I type this.

I'm not sure what's going on with the dudes eye though... hmmm... he's a creeper. =P
It took sooo many shots to get this! He kept sneezing, or got the hiccups or started jumping all over me, or would go behind me to cuddle. The outtakes are funny...

Having a fab cuddle with daddy, shortly after this he did an absolute explodapoo which went through the nappy, and the blanket to leave Dave with an attractive stain on his shirt. By the time we got him back in the incubator to change the nappy it was up to his shoulder blades!
Cleo and her kitten cuddling on the carpet. This is a rare moment of peace around here, as the kitten has discovered climbing and is trying to climb everything in sight. When she's not climbing, she's bounding back and forth across the room chasing crumpled paper and jingly balls. If I had even half the amount of energy she has I could get so much done!
She loves giving cuddles and will get up on your lap while you are sitting down even though she's pretty big. She kind of hugs when she does cuddle. Focus was her cuddling on my wife lap. Natural light coming in through window. Background is just part of the house.

My friend who I babysit for, told me about these cute little quilts... It's small and perfect for a baby to cuddle up with... One of the ladies in my guild had given me a pattern so I had to give it a try! It's really hard to cut a stuffed animal in half! I looked for stuffed animals with embroidered eyes since it's for a baby.
