This is my wife's great neice Ava. She has Downs syndrome. I caught this sweet moment as she stroked and cuddled Kryssy. It was nice in as it showed the trust of the child to a strange dog, and was also a milestone in seeing Kryssy develop from the somewhat highly strung creature she was when we first got her to the more mellow hound we have today.
I was sitting outside bird-sitting when Serena came over to visit. She played around for a bit then wanted to cuddle up on my lap cuz that north wind was really cold. We warmed each other up.
In the meantime the resident pair of doves, who never come close to me, were inching closer and lo and behold came to the feeding area. The doves must have thought it was safe to approach if I was distracted. Serena was wiggling on my lap while I was trying to steady a shot, but I got a few. I whispered "sshhh....look" to Serena, so she watched and held still as quiet as a mouse. How could any human being not be fascinated by birds. They're beautiful, colorful, funny, interesting.....and they can flyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy................
Has anyone ever had a flying dream? I did once, years ago, and I have never forgotten that feeling of sheer ecstasy.

Christmas break I enjoyed cuddling to my cousins new baby. Phylis the frenchie. She enjoys cuddling, baby's, chasing her Kitty sisters, and throwing her ball under the couch so I can get it.
When i came home from Bungenäs tonight, i was met by my big cat Bamse who always wants you to pat him and cuddle ..... so i spent a while with him while the sun went down.
