Went to visit my father this weekend and discoverd that my Step brother has gotten married two years ago and had a child 3 months ago. A bit of a surprise, but we went and visited him and their little one.
Both my brother and his wife are pretty isolated from anyone, so I'll be making an effort to make sure they feel like they have a family here in Canada. Cute little guy as his aunt, my sister cuddles him close.

The cat and dog are cuddling for warmth since I turned the furnace off and a cold snap has hit Edmonton. We turned the furnace on shortly after but let them cuddle a while. :)
This one turned out really nice as well. I used the flash on this one, but luckily it didn't wash out her face.

when we first got Sasha she just hid in the closet.

then she came out but we couldn't touch her.
then she came near us so she could watch us.
but from a distance.
after that, she moved closer.
she has just recently started laying on our laps.
she keeps getting better and better.
we so love her.
