Keanu and Simba (11 weeks old - foreground) love cuddling together on their cat tree hammock. Keanu has become Simba's protective big brother and playmate.
“Where did you get all those cards from Sky?” asked Bertie.
“They fell through the front door onto the floor. They were all sent to me for some reason.”
“That is nice, do you know why they were sent to you Sky?”
“It could be my birthday I suppose.”
“No, that isn’t just yet. Posh, do you know why Sky received all these cards?”
“Yes, Sky received the cards because bears somewhere sent them to him.”
“I kind of worked that one out for myself Posh. Any idea why they were sent?”
“Well, hoomans have a special day called Valentine’s Day where hoomans send their love to their bestest friend. They send cards, flowers, chocolates and all sorts of nice things.”
“I didn’t get any honey or chocolate Posh, where is my chocolate and honey then?”
“Us bears do things differently Sky, for us we celebrate Cuddle Day, which is when bears send cards to other bears to let them know they are being thought about and loved. So, Sky has five Cuddle Day friends that while they can’t be with him as they have important work to do cuddling their hoomans, they sent him cards.”
“Who are they from Posh?” Asked Bertie looking a bit sad that he didn’t have any.
“Ah, well that is the point you see, they are anonymous.”
“I don’t know a bear called anonymous though Posh.” Said Sky looking confused.
“Anonymous means the sender doesn’t write their name on the card so the bear receiving it won’t know where it came from.”
“That’s a bit silly Posh, how can Sky say thank you for the card if he doesn’t know who to thank?”
“Well, that is the way we have always done it Bertie. Did you receive any cards?”
“No, does that mean that nobody loves me?” Asked Bertie seeing the smug expression on Sky’s face.
“Of course not Bertie, lots of bears love you and even some hoomans, it is just they didn’t send you cards.”
“Oh, well I’ll have to look at Sky’s cards then and pretend.” Said Bertie.
“No, you don’t want to look at my cards Bertie. I’m going to put them away in a minute.”
“Sky, are you sure that all those cards are for you?” Asked Posh.
“I think so Posh, all these cards but no honey.”
Posh bent over and picked up a card and looked closely at it.
“Bertie, this card is for you. Look it says your name inside here.”
“How nice, it is such a lovely card too. Thank you Posh, I wonder who sent it.”
“This card is for me, look it says to Posh Bear and it is the same picture as your card Bertie.”
“So, I only got three cards then.” Said Sky watching as Posh bent down to pick up another card.
“No Sky, this one is for the two baby bears, Love and Hope, so we all have a card. The one over there looks like it is for Elli. I do wonder who sent them though.” Said Posh
“Sky, I’m sorry that they weren’t all for you but it is nice to spread love and cuddles about isn’t it, so we can all share?” Said Bertie.
“Yes, I suppose it is Bertie, I honestly don’t mind sharing love and cuddles with everyone.”
“That’s nice Sky, I think sharing is always nice.” Said Posh smiling. “It is something that we should all always do.”
Bertie and Sky nodded their heads in agreement.
“In that case Posh, any chance we can share your honey please?” Asked Sky.

Friendship should be forever, friends should accept the differences of fellow friends. When needed, friends should be there for support. Flickr friends are GREAT!!!
As first light turned the sky a burnt orange color, these two Wood Storks began their day by cuddling with each other...a sweet moment while most of their neighbors still slept.

This was alittle bit of an impromptu photo shoot with my wife and the dog. She asked me to get a nice one of them cuddling up and next thing I knew, I had a load of photos. This is the best of the bunch. Still loving the DxO Nik Collection. Slapped a few filters together and it just works :)

Rainy days at the cabin are best spent napping, and cuddling with the ones you love.
Eva is not usually a big cuddler with Bruno, but for some reason it was deemed acceptable on this rainy afternoon. Either way, he was happy to accept the cuddle and just hang out with her on the bed waiting for the rain to go away.
They truly are domesticated and spoiled animals. And I wouldn't want it any other way.
99L!!! Speakin of summer almost bein over... sorry, it's true.... this old wagon is perfect for sitting around with friends on a cool evening. It could also be used as a stage or just as a backdrop on your own land. The two blanketed seats have 16 single and 6 couple poses total.You can also sit on multiple hay bails. This was made keeping low prim areas in mind. Only 14 land impact.

After a year or so in the house, she is relaxing into what most of us think of as a more normal cat. Not as tense or afraid. Mellowing out as an older kitty.
