My cuddle companions found a comfy hollow between tree roots. It was the perfect place to rest, and so quiet too. Even Shishka kept still for the photo.

A rescued hedgehog that was produced by the staff of Howey Hedgehog Rescue at an open day at the Elan Valley visitor centre. This girl only has three legs after surviving a badger attack, so is a permanent stay at the centre, not being able to survive in the wild.

Relaxing by the fire with my wife. So nice to get cuddle time with her.

Sitting close together while taking pictures.

This is one of the "occupational hazards" of shooting macro hand held. Early in the morning bees will sense the heat coming off of my finger and climb onto them to get warm. I actually had a hard time letting this little one go -just didn't want to leave my finger.

Tech Specs: Canon 1D Mark III (F14, 1/250, ISO 200) + a Canon MP-E 65mm macro lens (@1x) + a diffused MT-24EX. This is a single, uncropped, frame taken hand held. I am the finger model.

Stabbur and Kiwi are cuddling on the couch. As you can see, they loved each other very much.
