And one more waterfall photo from our visit to Ohiopyle... this one is the popular Cucumber Falls. Easy to get to, which means it has many visitors and therefore required a great deal of patience on our part to find a moment without multiple people in the scene. Can't say I blame them though... it was a hot, humid day, and what better place to cool off than at the base of a waterfall?

After the bees pollinate the flowers, we get cucumbers

ODC - 11/7/2023 - Two to Make a Story

It was rather depressing for me to be down below Cucumber Falls, look over to spots I had shot from when I was here 2 1/2 years ago and realize there was no way I could get to those spots anymore due to my present physical condition.

The first clue is that there are mysterious holes in my cucumbers

Cucumber Falls is one of the most visited water falls at Ohiopyle State Park in Pennsylvania.

On a rose in Devon, was this Cucumber Green Spider (Araniella cucurbitina). I suspect it's a female because of the size, since they can grow to 9.5mm, whilst the males grow only to 4.5mm.

When I pick my cucumbers, I press each cucumber with my fingers but hope the owner wouldn't see me pressing them. : ) No owner would be happy to see his precious children (cucumbers) a little abused! lol You gotta do it so fast! Don't judge me please!

Pulled 7 cucumbers off out of my garden today. From 1 plant!

Some for snacking, and some for dinner. They are so crisp and fresh, it's like I have never eaten a cucumber before.

Some thoughts on gardening and connectedness here

Usually I see these guys eating petals but today some appeared to be taking in nectar.
