Notice that in this mudroom we carried the legs of the bench all the way to the tile instead of terminating into a wood base. The advantage to this approach is that muddy footwear lives on the tile as it dries.

Photo 1 of 2 of the tour of my new cubicle on 2nd Floor in GEF 2. Not pictured, and hiding, is the object that I'm not allowed to have in my cubby. [DSC_5101]

Often forgotten about is the space below the stairs. You could store old toys or spare carpet scraps under there, sure. Or, we could make you a charming storage alcove such as this.

Post office sorter with 108 cubbies, sold at Lakewood Antique Market. (I wanted to keep it soooo badly, but couldn't find a place for it.)

Taken through a window - a little bit disappointed by the slight reflections.

A few coat cubbies along a wall of a classroom in an abandoned reform school that was built for troubled youth. Some of the terms like "troubled" had a different, looser context when these buildings were in operation and could often be viewed as ADHD or autistic behavior today. Therefore, many children were sent to these schools since parents and doctors did not understand what their child was going through. It often never fixed the problem, and not surprisingly these schools failed, closed, and sprawling campuses were left to rot. Enter, me... and my camera. :P © 2014-Current.

This 10 month old tiger cub was playing in a tiny water hole that was right near the road! His mom had stopped for a drink and he had fun playing in the water! I cropped into his face to show you how cute he is! This photo was taken in Ranthambore National Park in India!

This lovely cubby house was seen at Albion Farm, a local private garden that had a open week-end. The cubby is complete with spiral staircase (to the left).

Cubs win in game two of NLDS 2015 against the Cardinals. My puppy my not be a Cubs fan!

We bought a new townhome that included a cubby about 5

10" wide that we wanted to use as a home office. We wanted two workstations (PC + laptop) plus room for all the peripherals and supplies. We looked for furniture that would fit the bill for a while, but nothing left enough space to move around.

Not that much room to turn around or do much of anything in there. I sincerely hope there were curtains next to the toilet at one time. :D © 2012-Current.
