CSX 7858 leads an Eastbound somewhere around Bergen, NY on January 24, 2000. I'm not sure of exact location, but possibly Dublin Road? Too bad that 2nd unit wasn't leading.
Lots of EMD's occupying the shop tracks at Tilford Yard in Atlanta, GA including a new ECO #1702. Notice all the RCO equipped locomotives in the line as most of the RCO jobs have been cut along with the hump yard. They went from 5 RCO jobs a shift to just one along with the car and engine shops going to skeleton crew. Hump yard is now a parking lot for trains waiting on crews.
The CSX "Spirit of Louisville" CW40-8 leads a CSX AC4400CW, as they pull Autorack Train CSX Q210-26 Northbound on the old CSX Western & Atlantic Subdivision, seen here at Cartersville, GA. This was my first time ever catching this CSX spirit engine.
CSX Q418-28 blasts eastbound through CP TL in Langhorne after waiting at Nesh for K610-26. SD40-2 8831 and SD60M 8761, a duo of former Conrail units make easy work of the 27 car train. January 28, 2017.
CSX local B747 switches cars along the “Old Main” in New Haven, Connecticut. Not much work today as this was one of two events that took place with this train.
CSX 6204 is leading the standard set of power on R-136 at CP29 in Beaver Falls, PA on September 17, 1992. GP40's were on almost every CSX train at the time, but they were not as boring as all the GEVO's of today.
In October 2007, CSX derailed train Q380 in spectacular fashion near Painesville, Ohio. The resulting track blockage prompted a number of detour trains over Norfolk Southern's route through Pennsylvania. On the afternoon of October 12, a combined Q109 and Q169 was sent west on the Lehigh Line with the NS symbol 083 and a matched pair of CSX engines. The defect detector at Richards delayed this train 5 miles to the east, but by the time they hit Bethlehem we got the chance to enjoy some nice evening light as the 083 passed the old steel mill with a massive train of trailers.

CSX Q136 blows south past the former P&LE yard office at McKees Rocks, PA on 11 February 2001. By this date, much of the P&LE was just a memory; but this structure, and the former shops a mile or so farther south, and - for a while after I moved to Pittsburgh in 1998 - even some of the P&LE defect detectors remained.
Two CSX locomotives are at their railyard in Cayce, South Carolina in 2014. Rhere is a egineer on board the 6114 and his conductor is on the ground out of sight making a couple.

Here at CSX Saginaw Yard in Michigan, one of the yard jobs is captured switching the Wadsworth St. end on the south side of the facility. Shown in September of 1987, the U18B was originally built during December of 1973 for the Seaboard Coast Line.

April 10, 2018: A GP38-2 EMD engine brings local yard job CSX Y220 by the Milepost OWA 47.32 at Cartersville, GA on the CSX W&A Subdivision in Cartersville, GA. The train had been working a chemical plant on the South side of town, and is now headed back to North Yard.

CSX 4720 splits the former NYC Type-G tri lights at milepost 133 near Columbus, OH on CSX's "Burt Line". Q391, the train seen here, is one of three regularly scheduled trains to use the line; Q390, Q391 and Y222. This is a line where photographing a train matters.
CSX Q300-16 charges east through the remnants of the previous night's snow at Langhorne, led by an ES44AH, SD40-2 and an SD60, which were working hard to bring the long train east out of a speed restriction. December 17, 2016.
CSX L157 passes underneath the old 413 Automatic. This will be one of the last trains to pass by this signal before it was removed and cut up.
