September is EOP Month and every year we take the opportunity to celebrate the existence of EOP and the success of its students.
This year we had a successful celebration at the unveiling of our commemorative EOP plaque that was made possible by longtime supporter Professor Glenn Omatsu. This was an opportunity for students to (re)connect with the trailblazers who fought to make CSUN the diverse campus it is today.

On Tuesday, May 5, 2015 the Educational Opportunity Programs hosted a reception to recognize the accomplishments of graduating EOP students. Over 600 EOP students are anticipated to graduate this Spring and Summer.
At the event students received a complimentary EOP Sash, a token of appreciation from the program to publicly acknowledge their hard work.
Congratulations to all of the graduates!
Congratulations to our high potential EOP students on their completion of their residential bridge experience. Back in the summer of 2018, most of these students were admitted to our campus by EOP as "special-admit" freshmen. This means that CSU rejected these students due to their low grades in high school, but EOP leaders recognized their high potential. For a summer plus three semesters, EOP leaders provided support services, especially mentors, to help these students develop their potential. These students have proven to be high-achieving individuals.
