Got some custom machined aluminum knobs from Purple Audio (thanks, Andrew!) for the WMECS5. Just got them all on today.
We started hiking at Sylvan Lake in Black Hills National Forest Park. This photo is taken about hour up the trail. Already you can see a long ways into the distance. The foreground of the photo shows the dead pine trees because of the beetle infestation. It was hard to get an unobstructed view of the sky, and so I had edit out a couple of trees that blocked part of the view. I like seeing the different layers of hills in the distance.

This started out from a thread in one of the Adobe forums where a poster remarked:
"You could also try to use Lightroom Beta 4, its engine is very powerful."
This made me smile and conjoured up a mind picture I had to make real.

The weather is warming up and after a session in the backyard all the puppies wanted to do was lie down and take a breather.

i don't know what's worst: the fact that some front-end developer screwed up the search button, or the "0 hits" result i got by searching for "photoshop." on adobe's own website
