Well, not really. He was just whacking everyone with his damned place mat. When his mommy swatted him (Swatted? HA! Barely touched his ass is more like it), he laid out on the floor and screamed for half an hour. "Oh poor thing, you're just tired." I only wish I could track him down in twelve years and show him this photo.

My attempt at a Jill Greenberg Style Photo. This is my son, Tristan, at 23 months. Also, I didn't make him cry for the photo. When he started crying, I just quickly snapped this before I comforted the little guy.
This is Miles' pouty-lower-lipped pre-crying sad-face, which is the saddest thing in the world. It doesn't always come before actual crying, but it flashes across his face every now and then and will just break your heart.

2nd day of spring and we have a big winter storm warning and are expecting 10-20cm of snow overnight. I decided it would be a movie night. I walked to Rogers and saw that The Boy with the Stripped Pajamas was out. I rented it. I balled for probably 75% of the movie. It is so sad. I couldn't post anything other then my emotions from this movie. I just don't understand how people are treated unfairly even in today's world for no reason other than for being who they are. It is just so sad.
