Lake Constance is a lake on the Rhine at the northern foot of the Alps. The lake is situated in Germany, Switzerland and Austria. Lake Constance is central Europe's third largest lake. It is 63 km long, and at its widest point, nearly 14 km. It covers approximately 571 km2 and is 395 m above sea level. The greatest depth is 252 metres.

Once the sun had set the colour started spreading out - well the cloud did and took the colour with it. :-)

BNSF 9259 rolls over the top of the 'Natural Crossover' at Frost near Victorville, CA. This is back in the everything but the kitchen sink era on BNSF. You could seen anything on any train.
Really it's just litter, but it's fascinating to see what happens when you add cultural landmarks to the landscape.
CP 678 crosses over from Main 2 to Main 1 at Grand Ave as they coast into Milwaukee with tanks in tow.

Made a cold, Danish-Japanese inspired, sauce to fried fish, spinach and mash the other evening.
Came out pretty nice actually...

I had the idea for this shot a couple of days ago, but could never get it quite right. Either the shutter speed was wrong or I struggled to hold the camera steady. Having explained to the guy taking his break what I was up to, he was happy for me to carry on and it didn't take long this time to get the image I was after.
Crossover is part of my Symmetry Series and it brings together my love of Photography and painting.
Both mediums create images by using light and shadow. With Crossover, I want to show that place where real and imagined collide.

Reds 6 and 7 are the synchro pair who perform high speed crossovers in various ways. They are part of Hanna, named after the first leader of the Squadron and legendary display pilot Ray Hanna.
I'm subscribed to nightwing and a big crossover is going on, so I decided to go out and buy all the other parts, can't wait to start reading
A mostly clean KCS AC4400CW leads a filthy, faded KCSM ES44AC on the point of CPKC train G357, stopped on top of the Olive St crossing west of Knoche on Track 901 as the conductor lines the 901/North Main crossover for straight rail. From here, they'll continue towards the BNSF-KCS Connection at Lydia Ave towards the AS&B Bridge, crossing over the Missouri River to interchange with BNSF at their Murray Yard. 10/19/25.
