It's the mad people from the Brietling Wingwalkers again, always a great display, always blows my mind how they can stand up there

When you go to shoot some light trails and there's no traffic!!

ich glaube mein licht/schatten-automatik-button von meiner software ist schwer besoffen - einmal gedrückt und aus einem strahlend blauen tageshimmel wurde das dann - gefällt mir aber fast besse - 'a gscheide automatik'

Visited "The Wings over Illawarra" airshow at the Illawarra Regional Airport today. www.wingsoverillawarra.org.au/

One of the main drawcards were the Royal Australian Airforce "Roulettes" acrobatic team. These guys are phenomenal at what they do and this was the first time I have seen them perform "live".

This shot was one of about 230 that I took of their acrobatic feats...and is by far my fave. It was nothing but pure luck to get these two so perfectly aligned. These planes were flying towards each other at breakneck speed and at the last possible moment they pass with literally only a few feet between them! Amazing!

See here for upcoming displays of The Roulettes... www.airforce.gov.au/Roulettes/

Part of Tokyo's subway network.

Aurizon’s 6028 & CF4424 swing through Belford, crossing an empty Pacific National coal train with a string of loaded AGAH hoppers bound for Carrington as loaded grain train 5458 from Moree.

In the unprocessed version of this image, you can barely see the airplanes due to a rain shower, clouds and residual smoke from other formation passes. I used Photoshop's Highlights and Shadows adjustment to pull out the details. End result is similar to Lightroom's Dehaze adjustment but with more control.

From the Friday practice.

The Atlantic Ocean from the Space Coast of Florida. This was the first sunny day we've had here in what seems like months; very unusual for Florida--the Sunshine State!

What’s up guys? On her way to work my wife gave me a heads up that we have perfect conditions in the neighborhood for some landscape photography. I grabbed my bag and ran out to get few images before my work day starts. Amazing frost and mist was everywhere, while fall color is still lingering across the meadow! Winter/Fall crossover. What do you think?

My last night in Hong Kong for a while. From a high viewpoint I was lucky enough to snap this shot of Tsing Ma bridge on a reasonably clear day with a half decent sunset - all too rare in Hong Kong. The Tsing Ma bridge was the third longest suspension bridge in the world at the time of its construction. There is enough cable in it to circle the earth 4 times over. It links the Islands of Tsing Yi and Lantau where Chep Lap Kok airport - one of the busiest in the world resides.

Once the sun had set the colour started spreading out - well the cloud did and took the colour with it. :-)
