One of the main drawcards were the Royal Australian Airforce "Roulettes" acrobatic team. These guys are phenomenal at what they do and this was the first time I have seen them perform "live".
This shot was one of about 230 that I took of their acrobatic feats...and is by far my fave. It was nothing but pure luck to get these two so perfectly aligned. These planes were flying towards each other at breakneck speed and at the last possible moment they pass with literally only a few feet between them! Amazing!

The tracks and points bring back fond memories of setting up my hornby model railway. I ran a Tri-ang Hornby R159 double ended diesel locomotive on '00' gauge.

My last night in Hong Kong for a while. From a high viewpoint I was lucky enough to snap this shot of Tsing Ma bridge on a reasonably clear day with a half decent sunset - all too rare in Hong Kong. The Tsing Ma bridge was the third longest suspension bridge in the world at the time of its construction. There is enough cable in it to circle the earth 4 times over. It links the Islands of Tsing Yi and Lantau where Chep Lap Kok airport - one of the busiest in the world resides.

The Atlantic Ocean from the Space Coast of Florida. This was the first sunny day we've had here in what seems like months; very unusual for Florida--the Sunshine State!
It seems incredible how this class managed to evolve to such extent since that decisive moment in history — over twelve hundred years ago, circa 2600 AD when the technocrats and natural scientists undertook world governance — when the political leadership was abandoned and replaced by the Marie Curies and the Max Plancks of the time.
The Cuypershuis in Roermond, The Netherlands, is the former home and workshop of architect and designer Pierre Cuypers (1827 -1921). And now a museum in honour of his life and work.

My last post of today's visit to the Wetland. Most people do not turn around as the ocean along with the sunset is on the opposite side... As for me, I just cannot help but spend 8+ minutes standing there and watch the crossover moment... I'm sure I'm among the last persons to walk back to the shore from the water! Just a perfect way to call it a day! :-)

Really it's just litter, but it's fascinating to see what happens when you add cultural landmarks to the landscape.
