An image of little photographic merit, but a record of the location from where 60028 was photographed this week, long before the A38 was converted to dual carriage way and carried over the North Staffs line on an overbridge.
48094 from Mold Jnc shed heads in the opposite direction towards Stenson Jnc passing Derby Road Crossing Box from where the signalman operated the gates across the A38 presumably with the usual wheel. Even back in 1963 I would imagine it was a risky business finding a gap in the traffic to perform the operation. The box did have a large bay window, typical of other NS boxes, to hopefully help sighting the traffic.
CSX M582-08 is pulling into Cartersville, Georgia and preparing to make their set off and pick up off the Southbound at Junta Yard. Lead today by CSX 4545, a rebuilt SD70MAC, this is the second time this year I've caught this unit leading. It was much cleaner the first time.
Precarious crossing I made carrying Camera etc., finished having to crawl across-want even sure how deep this stream (burn) was, all I thought was don't fall in as got camera in hand, Phew!!

I have made a few saturation and contrast changes based upon test prints and feedback from other artist/photographers. My goal is to get a closer print color match for all of the images in the infrared series. I will be adding new photos into the series soon but this is the final round of updates I will be making to the past infrared collection. The print collection will be shown at several Seattle locations in the next few months.
All of my infrared images are captured using a Nikon D80 and a Hoya R72 IR Filter.

This westbound grain train from Superior crosses the Tamarack River on the east side of Wright, Minnesota making its way along the BNSF Brainerd Subdivision.
The same family of trumpeter swans are moving from cell 1 to cell 2 in Tommy Thompson Park. That's mom leading the way. Dad is behind them just off frame.

This little crossing ferries people across the water of the estuary from Pentire to Crantock (Newquay, Cornwall) at high tide. At low tide boards are placed across so you can walk over the river to the beach.

The Herdwick is a breed of domestic sheep native to the Lake District of Cumbria in North West England. The name "Herdwick" is derived from the Old Norse herdvyck, meaning sheep pasture
HSB 99 7232 4 is crossing the four way road junction between Wernigrode Westerntor and Hochschule Harz stations with an empty stock train from the carriage sidings at Westerntor to I assume Drei Annen Hohne to form service 8783 12noon to Brocken. In this area the line runs alongside the roadway.
V/Line Victoria's N464 ‘City of Geelong’ traverses over the Breakwater Bridge (crossing over Barwon River) in the inner suburb of Breakwater, in the City of Geelong. N464 was hauling a lunchtime ex-Warrnambool service back to Melbourne Spencer Street.

While I am not a huge fan of the leader, I won't complain, this was one of my favorite highlights of my trip to Western PA for vacation to visit various railroads, and I will say Wheeling & Lake Erie is an impressive operation with all the cool power and viaducts....
Seen is WE Train 612 a daily manifest from Rook Yard to CSX Connellsville, with 127 cars in tow as it crosses the Sudan Trestle in Crackerjack, PA.
After flagging the crossing, the conductor prepares to get back on his locomotive as the train passes the A&A station at Curriers
As a train approaches the crossing, the lights flash and the arms lower.

Bangladesh is a land of rivers. So it is easier to move from one place to another by boat. Journey by boat is very interesting, especially in the rainy season.
During my last visist at December to Bangladesh, once I went to my grandfather’s house with four of my friends from the capital of Dhaka city to Sirajganj city. For this, we hired a small boat. On the fixt date, we came to the river –site. There were two boatmen. So we were six in number in the boat. We started in the morning at about 3:15pm. The boatmen set sail. The wind was favourable. So the boat passed quickly with the wind. But at noon the wind suddenly dropped. Then the boatmen used their pole and oar to move it.
The river was full to the brim. The boat was moving slowly. The waves of the river were making sweet sound. At some places, we saw the farmers cutting paddy plants. We also saw many fishermen fishing with their nets. Many men were bathing and swimming in the river. We were charmed at the vast green paddy fields, mastered fields which is looks as yellow sea and the beautiful sights on our way.
After rowing for three hours we reached our destination. The boat stopped at a place. We all got down and my uncle was glad to see me. He received us warmly.
A journey by boat is really pleasant. The charming sights and scenes on my way filled my heart with great joy. Indeed it was a very happy journey for me and I shall never forget it.
